The owner is so rude

The owner of this business Gabi could well be described as crazy. The tone & language that she uses towards other mums on a daily basis is absolutely not ok. She created a Facebook group where mum's could ask safety advice about car seats and anyone who dares to ask a question on there gets a patronising & rude response to their sincere queries. How she feels it's normal to get on like that is beyond me. How she runs a business like that is mind blowing. Please Gabi, take a good look at yourself, good manners are free.

Rude!! Avoid like the plague

I have not personally bought a car seat from these Ill mannered people. However I have asked for advice previously, and have been a member of the page on Facebook. I strongly advise anyone especially anxious mothers to avoid this page, the comments are rude and passive aggressive. To slander a mother over her review who has stated she has PPA, very unprofessional, however comments did not go her way and it was lovely to see mothers sticking together not bashing one another down like I usually see. To the girl running the page, I can’t mention names as she is fighting very hard to remove all negative reviews, if her names mentioned they get removed. But judging from all these poor reviews left, you are the reason people leave these bad reviews, work on your mannerisms. Shame on you for trying to belittle people who come to you for help. Do not recommend at all.

Great experience, very knowledgeable about the products and easy to use website. I made a mistake with the delivery and it was fixed very quickly. Would definitely recommend buying from Simply Safe!

Verified purchases for reviews needs to be introduced!

I am unsure why reviews are allowed without people actually purchasing from this company but I am leaving another review as I have had some issues with a seat I purchased a year ago and Gabi sorted it instantly and sent me out a new one that arrived the next working day without me having to return the one I was having issues with. People shouldn’t be allowed to leave a review based on the Facebook group without any actual purchases. She’s continuously called a bully, yet the same people will jump on the bandwagon and write a negative review with no experiences themselves and no opinions of their own, just purely trying to destroy someone’s business. All whilst sharing ‘be kind’ quotes and quotes on mental health on their very public profiles. Also - I’m failing to understand why anyone would purchase a car seat from somewhere and not go to them for aftercare or fitting issues - it’s literally what you have paid for when purchasing a specialist car seat. Claim to support independent small businesses yet refuse to support them. Make it make sense 🤦🏻‍♀️

So rude - avoid!

Please don’t buy from this company. She offers aftercare via a Facebook page, but then is incredibly rude to parents who are asking questions about care seat safety. If you show any ounce of not knowing as much as she does she is quite rude and dismissive. Today she even went as far as to screenshot a review from here, and then upload it to the Facebook page, tagging the person she believes it to be from, calling them a liar and demanding that they respond to her. Loads of people responded saying that it was unprofessional of her to have done this. She turned commenting off that post and his/deleted every comment that was calling her out on her actions. See other reviews where people have screenshotted interactions with this woman where she has been incredibly rude and insulting. Not a woman/business I’d recommend having anything to do with.

Avoid like the plague!! Gabi is rude, nasty and a down right bully to mums who come to her for advice on how to keep their little ones safe in the car! She very brazenly stated on Facebook that she didn’t care about other people’s children.. yet runs a business that is for children’s safety? You wonder why people don’t buy from your business because you don’t care about the core value of what you’re selling. I have children and yet other people’s childs safety would still be my number 1 priority in any circumstance that I could help. Avoid this “business” like the absolute plague. Not the first time she’s been horrible and certainly won’t be the last. All you need to do is search her name on TikTok to see other mums experience.

Dangerous for postpartum mums

I am completely disgusted with what I have seen from Gabi and her company. We buy these seats as we want the best for our children, it is a given that postpartum is a fragile and vulnerable time, so to be treated and spoken to so nastily by a jumped up egomaniac can be incredibly triggering to good mums who are anxious and in need of, at the bare minimum, some half-decent customer service. Please be wary when leaving reviews on here as Gabi has now taken to posting them on her Facebook group and targeting people who she thinks has posted them, even without evidence it was them. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour, and I’m sure it won’t be long before she picks on the wrong person who has the resources to pursue her legally for her false promises of ‘aftercare’ (which seems to be just passive-aggression and being made to feel stupid for asking questions) and doxxing. Edit to add: I’ve been asked by Gabi to provide more information that would identify me. As discussed in my review, Gabi has unfortunately proven that it is not safe to do so as she plasters bad reviews to an audience of almost 90k people, tags people and starts confrontation, while simultaneously turning comments off so the person she is attacking is unable to respond.

Great experience

I’ve ordered two car seats from Gabi now and have had a great experience both times. Both seats were shipped really quickly and the aftercare with installation and fit checks has been great. I fitted my recent seat but couldn’t take pictures of my little girl in it until Sunday night as she was at her dad’s. I needed to use the car seat early the next morning so messaged privately and also posted on the Facebook group and got a response to my post almost straight away.

Great company

Bought 2 car seats from this company. Both times the car seat was shipped the next day and delivery was really quick. Messaged them to help with installation and to make sure I had installed it correctly and was replied to within the hour. Can’t fault this company, very helpful and professional.

Avoid! Take your business elsewhere.

Avoid this seller like the plague! Honestly, I have never come across a person like this before in business. Incredibly rude, constantly leaving passive aggressive, sometimes outright aggressive replies to genuine questions and queries and just appalling customer service. This woman lacks the self-awareness and emotional maturity to have a polite conversation, getting abusive and then accusing you of being the abusive one which is utterly baffling. Having a purchased a seat previously and then sent fit photos (as offered as part of the “service”) only to receive unhelpful and rude responses, I will be taking my business elsewhere and suggesting others do the same.

Stress free exchange!

I had such a great experience with Simply Safe Car Seats! I accidentally ordered the wrong seat, my own error, but they were more than happy for me to return it and exchange for one more suitable for my child. They shipped the new one the next day and even took the original one back at the same time, talk about impressive service! The whole process was quick, stress-free, and honestly, a huge relief after panicking I’d spent so much on something that wasn’t suitable (totally my own fault). Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable and customer-friendly place to shop for a car seat!

Very happy ☺️

I ordered a car seat and the base to go with it. The price was really good and it arrived very quickly. Unfortunately when it arrived the wrong item had been sent, I contacted them and it was resolved very quickly and the correct item was sent out as soon as possible. I am very happy with the items and Gabi has also helped me make sure my baby was in the seat correctly. I was able to send messages/photos and she replied with advice very quickly.

Excellent Service

I travelled from Leeds to the new store in Gainsborough today with my pregnant daughter and grandaughter and it really was worth the journey time. The lady who owns the store Gabi was extremely polite and beyond helpful so I really do not understand the negative reviews. Gabi was very patient with us and showed us several different car seats and helped us try different ones in our cars. I am so glad we went in person to see the products as we ended up with different car seats to what we originally thought thanks to Gabis invaluable advice. We are extremely happy and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Excellent aftercare…

I purchased a car seat a few months ago, process was easier and delivery quicker than expected. We have now purchased a new car and we were having problems installing the car seat in the new car. I sent Gabi a quick message on Friday evening not expecting a reply until after the weekend, but Gapi replied quickly and resolved the issue for us. You don’t get that level of service in many places, definitely recommend

Placed an order for a car seat…

Placed an order for a car seat yesterday and it was delivered this morning, can’t believe how quickly it came!! Being a first time mum, I also had a couple of queries regarding the positioning of my baby in the seat, a quick message and the relevant advice was given, also extremely quickly. BeSafe Beyond 360

We've just bought a BeSafe Beyond 360 + Base. It arrived very quickly. I installed myself, following the guidelines, and wanted to check everything was done correctly. Sent pics and video through the Facebook messenger. The response was incredibly prompt and helpful. It is a very good seat, form a very reputable brand, and the customer support was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Social media bullying

This company uses social media to highlight "car seat safety". They often provide contradictory information in order to sell their own car seats. I have seen this woman mock mothers time and time again and it is ridiculous.

Rude and offensive person

Never in my life have I had such a rude person to deal with. Contacted them because I wanted to buy my step daughter a car seat. Full price and I thought I'd take up the 5% offer, but try as I might it wouldn't allow it. Long and short, what a rude person Gabi is. With an attitude such as hers, it is unsurprising her name keeps getting mentioned. She keeps sending rude and abusive emails despite my requesting her to stop. Gabi claims to be the director of the Company. Shameful writing to me asking if I am unwell and thanking me for not checking out. She was asked for her data controller so I could ask to be 'Forgotten' Yes, I've contacted the ICO as she was asked not to contact me again other than to provide details of the companies data controller. Her response was, "how can I contact you and not contact you.....are you unwell?" A disgraceful reflection on her company.
