Scam Returns!

I recently got scammed by this company. I saw ads on Instagram, loved the look of the clothes and bought some pieces. When the sizing was incorrect, I went to return and then realized that they only offer store credit. Please avoid this outfit entirely! I have never come across a company that didn't offer returns... basically they take your money and there's no way to get it back if you are dissatisfied with the clothes. Terrible.

Buyer Beware

The dresses look great so I ordered, the quality for the price was not there. I did not like the fit and was disappointed, so I tried to return. They have no return policy for dresses on sale and everything is on sale. I was told can't return and given a posh link to resell it myself. I was going to return and try something else as I thought ok maybe a bad choice.... Won't be back, bad experience, buyers beware!

They do not accept returns

They do not accept returns! Only give store credit and was hesitant to order another clothing item that might not fit. I wear an XL but the $100 shirt I ordered was too small.

There are countless special occasion…

There are countless special occasion dress companies out there, making it hard to know which ones are truly worth it. Let me tell you—Red Dress is the real deal! Their dresses are absolutely stunning and feel like designer quality. I needed to exchange mine for a smaller size and was worried it would take a while, but to my surprise, I got a shipping notification for the new dress the SAME DAY I dropped off the return at a Happy Returns Bar. My only regret? Not shopping with them sooner. I’m a customer for life!

Poor excuse for a business

I had previously gave a higher review as I thought what I ordered was cute but made small. I normally wear a med but Ordered a Large dress... still small so I had to drive a hour and a half to Ulta Beauty to return the dress. Now Looks like I have to wait 30 days to get a store credit because the Dress I wanted was sold out.Not good business as they want give you a refund. I wanted this for Easter so I had to spend more cash to buy another dress at Macys.I will not be a returning customer.

Shop elsewhere

Consider shopping somewhere else. I purchased two sundresses in size small, but they fit more like a large. The quality is disappointing, and on top of that, they only offer store credit for returns if you're not satisfied with the items. Why would I want store credit for something I don't like? Thousands of retailers offer refunds, so you might want to explore those options instead.

The worst Scammers

The worst. Do not buy anything from Red Dress. When you return they do not credit original payment method. They give you a store credit. I never asked for a store credit. They sure know how to scam their customers. Never again.

Do NOT buy from this store!

Everything on this website is small and short, and CHEAP. The material is crap and the stitching is awful- you could find all of this Amazon for significantly less and WAY better return policies. Be aware that they return policy is from date of purchase even though their processing and shipping takes FOREVER and eats into your return time. On top of that, you only get store credit so you are just stuck in a loop of buying their crap over and over and over again.

Never had such poor customers service,

I have never such poir service and no response after emailing them twice. Each time they responded they would get back to me. And, they did not. I hope buyers know there is NO refund just store credit. Very poor customer service. I put them to my spam file. Jane

Do not pay extra for shipping/horrible customer service

I paid extra for my item to be shipped within a certain time frame. The item will not be delivered until 3 days after it was supposed to be here. I ordered this dress for my college graduation and it is coming in the day of. I have to travel for this, so I won’t be home when it’s delivered. I emailed the company to seek help or an explanation but so far no help. I’m just disappointed I paid $70 for a dress, extra for shipping and it didn’t arrive until the day of my event. I noted to them I have NEVER left a negative comment, complained or returned a product before to any store.

Bought 2 dresses on here

Bought 2 dresses on here. Spent about $300. The dresses were very cheap and not flattering. Beware of their return policy. It’s store credit only. So if you hate their clothes you’re just stuck buying more of their cheap junk.

Great Customer service

I have never had a bad experience with Red Dress-ordered from them several times. I do agree the shipping sucks, but I think we get spoiled with Amazon Prime and forget the cost of postage-take something to the post office and see what it cost you to ship it three states over! I bring up shipping because my storing begins and ends with shipping. I bought a couple items from them-two were a little big, so I put them in the big to return, but after I started the process, I decided to keep the one, for they didn't have a smaller size, and I loved it; however, I forgot to take the shirt out of the bag and ended up shipping it back to them with the other return. I emailed CS, and they got back to me immediately ( on a Friday). Nikki was gracious and helpful, saying it looked like they would receive my return on Monday, and she would have returns check for my shirt ( since I wasn't sure it was there-just couldn't find it anywhere in my house), and she would let me know. Sure enough, on Monday, she emailed and said the shirt was there, and they had already repackaged and shipped to me at no charge. I received it two days later. So, say what you want about shipping and customer service, but they could have blown me off and never responded, and they absolutely didn't have to ship it back for free when it was my stupidity. Thanks Nikki and Red Dress!

Red Dress Boutique will take your money!

Red Dress Boutique has no issue taking my money and promising a return if it didn’t work out however when i received the dress and it didn’t fit I submitted to return it for a refunded. They let me know that their return policy changed 4 days before my purchase and that they were no longer doing returns. They could only offer me an exchange for my $60 dress. I will never shop with them again. Beware ALL SALES ARE FINAL, don’t count on being able to do any returns. They false advertise and have terrible customer service.

Don’t Shop Here

Diana “Best” Harbour is the owner of Res Dress Boutique and is a royal b. I don’t haven’t shopped here since 2012 since she treated me poorly at her store. She comes off a bit racist but I’m not sure. The clothes are cheap and poorly made and you can find most of them on Shein for a quarter of the price.

Used to love Red Dress, but not anymore

I have been a customer of Red Dress for a number of years. I think, generally speaking, the quality of the items are good and they are cute. I used to get a lot of compliments when I wore their items and I recommended them to people who would ask where I got my outfit. However, due to a recent experience, that is no longer the case. I bought a number of items on final sale. I understand that these items are listed as non-refundable, but I have never had issues with Red Dress before, so I didn't anticipate problems. When the items came, most were good, but there were two items of dubious quality. One item was clearly used (smelled weird and didn't have tags) and another item had messed-up stitching and looked really wonky when put on. I immediately (that day) notified Red Dress. They, seemingly, did the right thing and offered to refund me (store credit, not cash) even though they were Final Sale items. So far so good. But then, after I mailed back the items and got my credit, I noticed they reduced the refund $8 for return shipping. I was a bit stunned since they never mentioned that I would be charged for shipping, provided a pre-paid label, and on their website it says if you mail it back within 14 days and accept store credit then return shipping is FREE (they capitalize it on their website). I'm not sure I would have mailed them back if I had known I would be charged - I certainly wouldn't have used their label. I notified Red Dress and basically got told that I was only offered the refund at all as a one-time exception to their Final Sale policy and gave no real explanation for why I was charged the $8.....so....I guess I should feel lucky that I paid $8 for bad quality items and having to mail them back? I don't know a company that doesn't do full refunds for defective items. Well, I guess now I do... Through experience I have learned that the quality of items from Red Dress is no longer reliable and the only one who pays the price when I receive defective product is me. Since I have used my "one-time exception" and paid $8 for the privilege, I will no longer be shopping at Red Dress and I won't recommend it to others. It is a shame since I was a fan of theirs before.

Never do business with this site

I ordered a skirt for my wife that I thought would look great on her. I looked through all of their information on sizing and even consulted someone else who ordered and was wearing the same sequined skirt about the fit. Everything seemed a "go" for a medium. My wife normally wears a Small, but I went one size up just to play it safe. I ordered it on December 24th and paid extra for 3 day shipping because we were leaving the country on December 28th and I wanted it for the trip. The 28th came and went and we were gone when it finally arrived on January 3rd. There was no information anywhere that said there would be a delay in shipping either on their site or in the order confirmation email. When it arrived, it was gorgeous rose gold sequins and I was really looking forward to her wearing it. When we returned home on January 12th, the skirt was waiting. When I unzipped it, the zipper was VERY tight and tore off about 8-10 sequins just in unzipping it. My wife was barely able to squeeze into the size Medium skirt and the zipper was a good 3 inches away from being able to zip it up. I contacted Red Dress for a refund / replacement. Their (lengthy) response was: Thank you for reaching out to us about this. We are so very sorry to hear about the delay surrounding the delivery of your order! Looking into this, it appears order xxxxxxxx was placed on Thursday, 12/24, with 3 business day expedited shipping. Since our Online Division was closed from Thursday, 12/24 to Sunday, 12/26, to spend time with our friends and families for the holidays, your order was shipped from our facility the following business day, Monday, 12/27, via UPS. Per our shipping guidelines, your order should have arrived by the end of the day Thursday, 12/30, at the latest. However, the tracking shows your package was delivered on Monday, 1/3. Warren, we truly apologize for any inconvenience this has caused! Since the order didn't arrive when promised, I've placed you in line to receive a refund for the expedited shipping cost, so we may suggest keeping your eyes peeled for a refund notification email later this afternoon, 1/14. Additionally, we are so sorry to hear the skirt didn't work out! Taking a further look into your order, it appears the Shining Moment Rose Gold Sequin Skirt is a final sale item. As stated in our return policy, "Items marked with Final Sale cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged. We do not charge restocking fees but Final sale items are limited to heavily marked down items from past seasons." link removed We work very hard to make this information as clear as possible, as the items are marked as 'FINAL SALE' on each specified product page, and this information can also be located on our returns page. Please see the attached screenshot. With that said, we are currently unable to accept the skirt as a return, as the item is Final Sale, and non-returnable, per our return guidelines. However, we are hopeful that you're able to re-gift, re-sell, donate, or re-purpose the item however you best see fit. I hope this helps clear some things up!
