Over 10 years ago, we engaged Future Legal Services to arrange our Wills and paid for a pre-paid funeral plan for my wife. My wife passed away earlier this year, and we have been left struggling for nearly 2 weeks to get any response from your office despite numerous emails and phone calls to them. This lack of communication is not only frustrating, but completely unacceptable. It seems that they are now refusing to honour the pre-arranged funeral plans that we paid for in good faith. Worse still, their team claims to be unable to locate any of the original forms and has chosen to ignore us rather than address the situation. At a time when we should be focusing on arranging my wife’s funeral and honoring her memory, we are instead being forced to fight for an agreement that was made and paid for over a decade ago. This is not only deeply disrespectful but also appalling customer service.
Awful experience so far. My Mum passed away nearly a month ago and after 5 phone calls and 3 E mails, still we cannot get hold of anyone to help us retrieve my Mum's will. This is making the whole process extremely stressful. This company charged my Mum and Dad a lot of money for their wills and then when we need them most, not one person has the decency to even get back to us. Please do not waste your money - use a local solicitor.
My father contacted this company last December to do his will, paid his money and Yes he did receive a copy to sign but it was totally wrong to the information given to them, names missed off and spelling well say no more…my dad is 89 and wanted to just have them prepare a will for him as that’s what they do supposedly. Six months down the line and still has no will in place. So wished I had read the reviews about this company he like others have been fleeced how can they do this to a pensioner or to anyone basically.

Unbelievably, still in existence? In my opinion, this outfit are a bunch of con-artists. They took a large amount of money from my parents to write and store their Wills. They give the impression that they are Solicitors - they are not. When it came to release my Fathers' Will, I specifically requested that it be sent 'special delivery'. They charged £15 for the privilege but I wanted to be certain that this valuable document would not be lost so I paid up. FLS sent it ordinary post with no signature (and therefore, no tracking) required. I advise you to do what I have done - write your own will and make sure that it is properly witnessed - no charge and no worry involved.
Do not employ them they overcharge and their service post event is useless. My brother paid £250 for drawing up the Will followed by 80 monthly payments of £25 for storing the will - a total of £2250. This would be less than £100 with a local solicitor who would probably have kept the will for free. Two weeks after the death I am still waiting for the Will to be sent to me. What if there are burial instructions in the Will I asked - they did not understand this simple question. Avoid at all costs.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I paid £3,500 to this company and have spent the last four years simply trying to get a cope of my will from them.
still waiting for my deceased mothers will after 4 weeks. we cant progress with anything until they send the will to us, but very poor communication. I would avoid them at all costs. We'll likely need to hire another solicitor to get the copy of the will recognised for probate, so we'll be sending that bill over to them when it is all finished.
Like many others we had Future Legal Services prepare our Wills in 2020. Following the initial payment for the writing of the Wills we have been paying £25 a month to them to keep our Wills safe etc. We realised that we were paying for something we did not need to and we phoned their office, twice, to sort out the return of the signed Wills but were told that someone from Accounts would contact us. No one has! We wrote informing them that we want our Wills returned to us and we were cancelling the Direct Debit. We still have had no response. Our advice is to keep clear of this company.
My wife and I signed up to this company in 2017. We paid an upfront fee and then £30 per month which was supposed to have entitled us to change our wills at no cost. When we moved house and notified them of our new address, they wanted to charge us for just changing the address on the wills! We wanted to make actual changes recently and they wanted to charge us. It turns out there has been a change in ownership. We were not informed. We had them send us the current "rules" and they proved to be substantially different to those we signed up to. I cancelled the direct debit and wrote asking for the wills to be returned. I've heard nothing to date and looking at these reviews I don't expect to! £30 a month for absolutely nothing!
I wish I had researched this company before paying out so much money. I have stopped paying them but they are not returning my wills. Please do not trust or deal with this company. I don’t know how these people sleep at night with all the misleading lies they say.
The salesman originally mislead us about how much we would have to pay, then when we realised the company were still taking money, we gave notice and asked for our Wills to be returned. No replies from them. I would avoid them at all costs.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY BAD SERVICE OVER ALL ASKED FOR A WILL TO BE MADE FOR ME AND THE WIFE IN MARCH 2020 SHOULD HAVE RECEVED A MONTH LATER BUT NO SIGN PHONED THEM IN JULY TO BE TOLD THAY WILL SEND OUT ANOTHER ONE BUT NO SIGN PHONED AGAIN IN AUGUST TO BE TOLD IT GOT SENT OUT 2ND CLASS POST CAN NOT BELIVE IT SO I ASKED FOR IT TO BE SENT OUT 1ST CLASS SIGNED FOR THAY SAID OK WILL DO GES WHAT NO SIGN PHONED AGAIN AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO MANGER GOT TRANSFERRED TO A DIRECTOR HE SAID HE WILL LOOK IN TO IT AND PHONE ME BACK WITH IN HALF AN HOUR NO PHONE CALL I PHONED AGAIN TO BE TOLD HE WAS IN A MEETING AND HE WILL NOT TAKE MY CALL
