Had cavity wall insulation done

Had cavity wall insulation done. I was quite sceptical and worried about it, I asked Dyson to come out couple of times and double check everything and they did. Had to put it on hold for a bit as well, they were OK with it and resumed the process when I was ready. Had few bumps with appointments and installation, but nothing major and they returned to fix quickly. All the service was free under British scheme.

Unprofessional and inexperienced

Since January 25 I have had several visits from surveyors, assessors, you name it, one of them couldn't find the damp proof course, each time drilling several deep holes in my exterior walls and leaving them exposed to winter the weather conditions. Only to be advised 3 months later that they are unable to go ahead with the insulation, and that they won't fill my holes with mortar back to the same condition prior to drilling. I am now faced with costs to put this right which I will be sending to Dyson.

Absolute joke

Absolute joke. Cavity wall insulation intentionally incomplete at upper parts of house " cos they don't do it" Absolutely rude. After I advised them I would make a complaint instead of infilling the big extraction holes properly, they stuffed it with roofing membrane and patched over with cement on very top of surface. I’ve just wrote a long review

I’ve just wrote a long review, then decided to delete it. The amount of issues, I’d need to write a book. Let me just summarise. I wanted cavity wall insulation under the government scheme. All I got was damage, lies, abuse, left waiting around for no show visits, promised calls/emails, oh and most importantly I didn’t even get the cavity wall insulation, even though it had taken 13 months just to get the “surveyor” on site. You can always tell a cowboy operation, if you ask a couple of important questions, so as not to have your property ruined, they all of a sudden make up fabricated reasons not to do the job. Go figure.

Thank you so much Dyson Energy, despite my initial sceptical thoughts, the service provided was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend other customers. Thanks to David and Robert for instilling confidence and to Matt and sorry don’t remember the name of the electrician but was a great friendly and professional service from start to end.

Excellent service

Our cavity wall insulation was installed on 15/6/21 by two of the most professional guys imaginable.From start to finish their enthusiasm was most impressive ending with them clearing even the dust they created. Unfortunately I did not take their names however one being from Portsmouth and the other from Gosport would easily allow Dyson to identify them and pass on my gratitude.

I would like to express the gratitude…

I would like to express the gratitude of both my wife and myself Dyson Energy Services for their professional and the way we have been dealt with in the boiler replacement, this has been our second experience of this company and we have absolutely no hesitation of recommending them . the first contact is with a dedicated co-ordinator who dealt with all aspects of the installation right up the installer who was very friendly and dealt with details of the job and extremely good , did not hang about and explained any changes etc between this one and the previous one. His visit was followed by an electrician , again helpful and just got on with the job, then asked if there were any questions and demonstrated the changes to the temperature control. first class company, thank you.

Excellent service for cavity wall…

Excellent service for cavity wall insulation from start to finish. After a cold call earlier in the year I was sceptical. I researched the Dyson Energy and found them listed on the approved installer list, so was happier to proceed. The surveyor was very professional and the installers did a superb job. I would highly recommend the Company and have done with friends and Family.

Our review and recommendation of Dyson Energy Services

We had cavity wall and loft insulation installed in our property by Dyson Energy Services, this was done very professionally and to a very high standard. The whole Dyson team from the (original canvaser, surveyor, two cavity wall insulation installers and loft insulation installer) were all very professional and smartly dressed, they were all very helpful, polite and courteous at all times. They explained there would be some noise and dust, but would strive to keep this to a minimum which they did and were very safety conscious for themselves, us and our property. Since the cavity wall and loft installations we have noticed the rooms throughout our property are much warmer and we are really very pleased with Dyson quality service and high standards. TOP MARKS to all concerned at Dyson Energy Services.

Do you even company????

If I could give a lower rating than 1 I 100% would. This is in relation to the insulation services you have carried out. I'm not sure which age of the people you employees at your company but the work they have carried out clearly hasn't been done by anyone older than 4 years old. ON TWO OCCASIONS!! Your employees have trampled over the fresh grass seed and lawn that I have spend hours working on. Now you can see the beautiful foot prints of the apes you have working for you all over my lawn. Yet you would think this would be it. No it isn't you have thrown everything that wasn't nailed to the ground around the garden and again left items on the lawn in which to kill said grass I was loving and caring for. I hope you don't just do just housing services as I would now like you to sort these issues you have caused to my garden. This hasn't been good enough at all. Sort it out.

Please avoid at all costs

Please avoid at all costs! They were contracted to put a heating system in our home through the warmer homes grant and all we had was abuse, intimidation making my poorly husband cry. They bullied there way to complete the job how they wanted and caused damaged to our home. They told us we were not worthy of the grant. Never been treated this way.

Air bricks cemented up!

The surveyor failed to note that both of my air bricks, in kitchen and bathrom were both in use, so when the man came to carry out the insulation he cemented up both air bricks! I contacted Dyson as soon as I noticed this and within a couple of days they sent a team out to replace the air bricks. Everything was dealt with very quickly, politely and proffessionally but shouldn't have been missed in the first place, hence 3 stars.

Great job today

Gary and Dave in Portsmouth were fantastic. Did a real good and clean job, patched up other jobs on the walls too! Just wish their head office communication was a little better. All in all 100% recommend.
