Will never use dollar or thrifty again at LAX. The staff on the desk add extras on even when pre paid for the car. Then when you ask if they are needed they evade the answers and pressure you to sign. I won't be using them again as the customer service offer no help and just say that the local site at LAX have found no issues. Even though I emailed with my issue on the same day as receiving the keys. I would recommend everyone avoid or be prepared to argue at the key pick up unless you want all sorts of pointless additional extras.

If only i could rate 0 stars!! Atlanta airport pick up. The lady at the desk was very dismissive & rude, she told me i didn't have free additional drivers when i showed her proof. After alot of discussions she took my partners details and said he was on the agreement. When we picked up the car it smelt really bad of smoke, i asked if we could change it back at the desk. I was told we have no other cars come back tomorrow. When leaving the car park the lady at the barrier told us my partner had not been put on the agreement, if she hadn't checked who knows what could have happened, she added him and confirmed i had free additional drivers. The next day i called and asked about the car changing i was told do it in Orlando as we were driving there that day, so that's what we did. When arriving at MCO the lady just laughed at us saying we were being silly and that smoke doesn't matter, i also told her that there was a thudding when accelerating which we had only noticed on the drive. Once again this was funny, i didn't know i was such a comedian. After 1hr we sorted the car and was on our way. I will never use Dollar again. Please read reviews dont use them!!!

Obwohl unsere Buchung bestätigt und bezahlt war, mussten wir bei der Abholung gut 30 Minuten auf den Autoschlüssel warten. Am Putzen kann das nicht gelegen haben. Das Auto hatte die gebuchte Klasse, aber kein Navi (sollte inzwischen zur Grundausstattung gehören). Das Radio ging auch nicht. Letztendlich haben wir es kostenlos (für Dollar) von Alberta nach British Columbia überführt. Dafür war es zu teuer.

Unsere Erfahrung mit Dollar war schlichtweg katastrophal und eine absolute Enttäuschung. Aufgrund einer geringen Flugverspätung kamen wir etwas später an, nur um festzustellen, dass der Schalter bereits geschlossen war – oder Flexibilität seitens Dollar. Es gab keine Möglichkeit, jemanden telefonisch zu erreichen, keine Notfallnummer, kein Entgegenkommen – einfach niemanden, der Verantwortung übernahm. Am nächsten Tag wurde uns dann mit arrogantem und unfreundlichem Ton mitgeteilt, dass wir das bereits vollständig bezahlte Fahrzeug nicht mehr erhalten würden. Statt Verständnis oder Hilfsbereitschaft erlebten wir nur Ignoranz und Respektlosigkeit gegenüber zahlenden Kunden. Besonders enttäuschend: Das Geld wurde nicht erstattet, und Dollar zeigte nicht den geringsten Willen, eine faire Lösung zu finden. Dieses Verhalten ist unprofessionell, kundenfeindlich und inakzeptabel für ein internationales Unternehmen. Ich kann Dollar absolut nicht empfehlen – wer hier bucht, riskiert, ohne Auto, ohne Unterstützung und ohne Rückerstattung dazustehen. Für uns nie wieder Dollar.

Dollar charged me $28.48 for a service that I didn't request. The EZPASS device was activated in the vehicle that I rented, I didn't request this service, nor was I told that the device was active. I have my own ezpass device, so there was definitely no need for it.
