The Bolla family, who have been running this amazing wine shop for two generations, are deeply knowledgeable and passionate about wine. They carry small local vintages and eccentric winemakers; they know the stories, history, and weather patterns that went into most of the bottles in their shop. If you're lucky enough to visit in person, you may be invited to share a glass, taste something new, and learn about the specific terroir of the small Italian vintners throughout the southern foothills of the Alps. La Cambusa is a wonderful place to shop, and offers amazing prices and deals as well as an impressive array of Italian wines, with a northern Italy focus.

Fabulous shop. Wonderful family. Learned a lot about the red wines of the region thanks to Rueben. My wife really enjoyed the seasoning packages. The Balsamico di Modena was delicious too. Our case of wine shipped home very well packaged. We had a bottle of the Ice Wine the following New Years. My favorites were the Barbera D’Asti, the Langhe Nebbiolo and of course the Barolo. My wife, daughter and I will always think fondly of our trip to Stresa and La Cambusa.
