Great experience. Wealth of information.
I really like the video style that George uses, with clear explanations and good camera an audio techniques. As a hobby only very senior woodworker, I have a small shop shared with my car. No bandsaw, joiner, planer and a contractor table saw. I am spending much more time using hand tools and would appreciate more videos on hand joinery. I try to make a simple dovetail joint every day to keep my eye/hand coordination ready for more work.
My go-to for great woodworking resources. I’ve always found their website provides resources presented clearly and with a 100% focus of making details easy to understand. Been a member for years. Highly recommended.
You can watch videos that teach you about different ways to make beautiful things that you didn't know how to make before.
Over time, I have learned many tricks and technics on how to perform specific tasks. The videos are well made and contain important details. If required, I can refer back to them when required
The woodworking world is relatively new to me, approx. 3 years, and I've been with WWGOA for about 6 months. The site has been super helpful in getting me oriented and familiar with this new world. I love the instructional videos by George and team. They are very well done with the topic thoroughly explained and fairly to the point so videos are a good duration. I really enjoy browsing the various content and learning new skills/techniques. I haven't taken advantage of the live Q&A sessions yet however plan to in the near future.
The most comprehensive set of woodworking information all in one place. Covers a wide range of woodworking related issues, machinery and projects

I have learned many tips and tricks on this site and as a member. One of the neatest and easy things I have learned was using angle aluminum sections and some short pieces of wood to make shop drawer handles. I just finished building a 12 drawer cabinet and used this method to make what I believe are classy drawer handles. Better than what you can buy! And there is a whole host of other things gleaned by being a member!
My wife and I moved to the beautiful Ozarks of Missouri and purchased 100 acres of hardwood forest. Before retiring as an aerospace engineer, I purchased a Lucas Swing-blade Sawmill. My wife and I built our own home and timber-frame barn with our own two hands as we started our homestead. I knew how to build buildings but had very little knowledge of fine woodworking. So, I signed up with WWGoA to learn all I could. With the skills I learned from George, I built my own raised panel kitchen cabinets from some of the Black Walnut I harvested from our property. I have also learned to build furniture, shelving, molding and trim. But also improved my skills of storing and curing lumber, identifying which wood types to use for which project or use. George has a wealth of knowledge and an engaging teaching style that makes it so easy to learn complex and varied woodworking skills. I especially love when he shows how to work with actual log handling and tuning every part of the tree into beautiful projects. If you're a homesteader, you'll want to get a subscription to George's WWGoA. He makes it affordable for those who don't have a lot of money. But the money you'll save with the skills he teaches will more than cover even the full price membership. Keep up the great teachings!!!
George does a good job of explaining the topic. his explanations are clear and with a little humor to keep my attention. Usually, there are no questions when he has finished.
Overall WWGOA has been a positive experience. When I first became a member a number of years ago, I felt inundated with stuff not related to woodworking. RV, boat ads, etc. That has been pretty much cleaned up at this point. I have appreciated the quality of the videos and the topics covered.
WWGoA always delivers beyond my expectations. As an aspiring woodworker, I always learn anytime I view WWGoA content, live, streaming, DVD, or in print. I can see that the content appeals to a wide range of abilities, from beginners to accomplished woodworkers. George Vondriska is an excellent resource capable of teaching a wide range of topics in a way that is easy to assimilate.
This site is very informative. It has a very large library of videos of all sorts of woodworking. They have live streaming Q & A sessions, they have a store and they have some tools they have coupons sometimes.
All good and quite happy and satisfied with the online service and materials. Happy with the range of informative videos from various contributors and the quality of information given.
I have learned many techniques that, otherwise, would have made a project very frustrating. The DVD that I bought from WWGOA was very good because it covered the process from beginning to end and in a thorough and timely manner.
I have belonged for 4 years. I make many of there shop projects. George is a great teacher. I also enjoy his new tool reviews.
