Be very careful with this company, wanted to check when my MOT was due, somehow managed to get onto this site. I now find that they are taking £7.95 a month out of my account. This is definitely scam country.
very easy to complete
If I could give them ZERO stars - I would! I'm another deceived person to add to the queue of people here. We clicked on what we thought was a link to tax a car and then got this sh*t! Very deceitful way of marketing themselves as a government website for car tax. Got charged £7.95 for some BS subscription. They would not budge and stated their system is very clearly....very clearly meant to deceive more like! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I'm not sure how they managed this but i was searching for DVLA to tax a car i just bought. i was in somebody else's living room so really just wanted to get it done and get out. i did notice the website was odd but they clearly use some sort search technique to grab people looking to tax their vehicle. I have cancelled the payment however the problem could have been much worse as it really appeared to take my DVLA tax request but the car was not taxed. Looking back at the cached pages i can see why i fell for it but also that i should have spotted the mistake
BEWARE of Vehicle enquiry uk . I went onto there website to tax my vehicle and entered my details and then realised I was on the wrong site I cancelled and went onto the proper site and taxed my vehicle. I thought no more of it until I got a message saying Vehicle Enquiry uk had taken 50p and then the next day they took another £7.85 I couldn’t phone the company so sent email and they are saying I haven’t an account and they keep asking a screen shot of the payments which I have not done as I only use Internet Banking and I am getting emails from them just asking for the same info so have presumed I won’t be getting my money back. BEWARE THIS A COMPANY that takes your money for nothing.
Another person - and one usually super aware of scams - taken in by this company. Absolutely furious. I don’t even understand how it happened as I copied the website address from my DVLA form and my car IS now taxed, which it seems wasn’t other people’s experience (perhaps because I drive electric so my road tax is (for now!) £0. I’ve only lost £8.49 as I’ve now stopped future payments thru my bank and cancelled my account (which I wasn't aware I’d opened until I googled “vehicleinformation” and found their website).
All you want to do is pay your road tax, end up on some hooky site asking for 50p, you think is to ensure your card is correct and will be refunded, not sure what happened, then 7.95 gone for something I dont need, sick of money grabbing vermin like this mugging people off, shame on google promoting this behaviour, not the only one whose been mugged off apparently.
Please do not use this service. I was trying to renew my car tax online and without realising it I was automatically redirected to this site. It took 0.50p from my account which I thought was strange but didn't think anymore about it. I was expecting DVLA to take the balance so I checked my bank account and saw they had taken a further £7.95. On looking at the payee details I realised it was this site Vehicle Information and not DVLA. Checked on DVLA website and tax not issued so realised this is a scam. Called bank, they have blocked all future payments and said I need to try and get the money back from the website but if I can't they will refund. They said this is a legitimate website but it's well known to them as many people have been fooled by how similar it is to DVLA. Advised me to always use my renewal letter and enter full website address from there. I can't understand how it can be legitimate but apparently it does check out so be very careful
Scam site took our money and car untaxed Can’t believe it’s still operating
