The order was recieved quickly, and best of all the codfish was the best quality I've had in years. I like that is de- boned, free of skin and brown spots-Clean large fillets.

We received a box from Wholey's 2 days after placing the order. Unfortunately, the invoice and shipping label had been placed on the wrong package. We called the store and spoke to Mr. Dan Wholey and explained the situation. He assured us he would rectify the matter. Two days later, on Christmas Eve day, another box arrived with our lobster tails. Beautiful seafood, carefully packaged and still frozen solid. Wholey's is a great store with a great tradition.

One minor item was missed in packing, but all major items arrived frozen solid. Customer service followed up immediately to rectify satisfactorily. Quality was all seafood and beef items was excellent. We will definitely be ordering more.

We wanted a first class prime rib for Christmas. It was excellent, not too much fat. I would order from them again.

Great speedy service and nice large lobster tails as promised, but they were beat up pretty badly. Many have broken shells and the end fins are broken completely off. Not good for a “showcase” meal.

I know Wholey's has a fine reputation.... and the shipping of my 20lbs of colossal king crab legs was first-rate and the entire order arrived on time and deep frozen. Of course we realize these large crabs can easily be 15-20yrs old as well , in addition to the natural variation from creature to creature. But since the pandemic began we have been allocating "restaurant dining money" towards really splurging on the best , and most opulent , foods at home, specifically including nearly 60lbs of king crab from other vendors. This seemed like a good value for 20lbs / $695 I see that now only a week later the price has risen to $775 , but of course that's the seafood business , repricing every week at least. Either way the price is slightly better or much better than their competitors - many of whom charge $1000+ for 20lbs of the largest legs. I believe the wholesaler that supplies them either sold them older stock , or it may have sat too long in Wholey's freezers - or thawed partially and been refrozen / no idea. But I have $700 worth of , not spoiled / but not good, crab that no one* will eat after sampling the first 1.5lbs. *entire family independently ( literally different houses , no commiseration ) all said, "this is the first time ever it smells and tastes "fishy" . I emailed immediately customer service but it was Dec 23rd so maybe they were already all shut for the holiday but I received no response.

ALREADY COOKED OUR FIRST BATCH THE ARE AS EXPECTED GREAT WE KNOW OUR SHRIMP AS WE USUALLY WINTER IN FLORIDA UPS ISSUE THE TOP AND SIDE OF THE COOLER WAS DAMAGED NO WORRY THE SHRIMP WERE STILL FROZEN SOLID
