Wholey's Market

I started with 2 stars but have bumped it up to 3 stars. I would have gone 4 stars or more if it had gotten to me sooner. Even though it's not Wholey markets fault that it took 8 days for my fish to get to me I think they have some responsibility in it too. The order was picked up by UPS on the 15th of February and I recieved the package on the 23rd of February. Part of this delay according to the UPS website is there were extreme weather conditions delaying delivery of items shipped through them. I hope the fish is okay after all that time. The package said it had 1 kg of dry ice in it which was non existent when I opened the package which by the way was abused by UPS. The side of the box was torn and the Styrofoam container was cracked open and not just a little bit, the fish was in between cold and some of it partially frozen so I believe it to be edible. I will edit my review once I have a chance to try out what I purchased. Sorry Wholey market I wish I could say better but for my first time purchase things didn't go as expected.

8# ocean perch packaged well, perfectly frozen. Unfortunately first 3 filets smelled horribly fishy and of ammonia(?). I’ll try another 3 today, we’ll see. But what’s with the ammonia smell?

Great variety and delivery was right in time. I ordered the sardines and they are high quality!

Product was delivered on time and is as expected. We could tell you more but won’t be eating the shrimp until this evening. Largest shrimp on the market we could find. Thank you for an easy shopping experience.

I ordered the New Yorker Dinner for Two for our special Valentines Day dinner and I couldn’t be more pleased. The lobster tails (7-8 Oz) were fresh and flavorful and the strip steaks were so big we couldn’t even eat one. It was a wonderful meal and kudos to Wholey’s for on-time delivery, despite the nasty winter weather.

Wholey's wing dust is delicious on all chicken, as well as pork. It adds wonderful flavor, without too much sodium, and just the slightest amount of heat. My package came in 2 days, as stated when ordered, and I am delighted with Wholey's service!

I have been looking for Jumbo chicken wings that weren't crazy OVER PRICED. Ordered these and I could not be happier. I will definitely be getting my wings from wholey from now on.

I live on the California coast and for some reason we can't get good seafood here, makes no sense. I was very happy to find Wholey's. I've been looking form someone that had a good assortment of fish and other meats and Wholey's fits exactly what I've been looking for. And best of all they ship quickly!!
