Asked a simple question about the availability and cost of meals on USA tours.The person on Web chat was no help at all .Explained clearly that we are a couple in our late seventies and whilst we are told eateries are plentiful the brochure gives no clue about ease of access or cost which I understand can come to a considerable amount.The answer I was given was more details would be given by the tour manager after we had booked.Many reviews warn people to factor in the cost of every beverage and meal where they are not included.I found the answers given were poor ,no mention of availability or cost.

Grand tour of Italy What an experience, very busy 15 days, from Venice to Sicily and lots in between. We had a great bunch of fellow travellers and a knowledgeable and attentive guide. Some of the food in the hotels was disappointing but local restaurants more than made up for it. Lots of on/off the bus and walking round the various sites with local guides, would have liked longer free time in some of the sites. As said lots of walking which gave us a feel for the area. If you have walking difficulties this may not be the tour for you especially as the weather gets warmer..C Lloyd

The train tour of northern India was a great experience, the guide was great and very knowledgeable it covered everything I was wanting to see and we had a good amount of time at each attraction. Hotels were all lovely. Would be improved with more proper dinners out, most meals were hotel buffets.

We decided that we fancied doing a tour of South America and after researching various tour companies decided that Titan offered the best all round trip. We were picked up on time by a very friendly driver and dropped at the airport where our tour manager, Darren Wheatley was waiting to meet us. We were a bit concerned when we saw the group was large with 35 travellers but due to Darren's excellent organisation, everything ran smoothly throughout the whole 3 weeks. Darren was very knowledgeable and it was clear that he had great experience and had done this trip many times before. We saw so many amazing sights and had a lot of fun, it really was the most fantastic trip. We have done a few organised tours in the past and really believe that the tour manager is the most important element and we really got lucky with Darren who was always happy to help and suggest things to do or places to eat. Yes, there were early starts and busy days but that's what travel is all about. Anyone that wants a trip to visit iconic sights and see a fantastic part of the world would not be disappointed taking Titans Grand Tour of South America!

We have been wanting to do a tour of Tuscany for a long time, and this tour certainly fitted the bill. The VIP pickup/drop off were a welcome added bonus to begin and end the holiday. We were based in two hotels in convenient locations and we experienced walking tours, train rides and coach travel to the many towns/cities that we visited - all well organised by our tour guide Helen - which included Florence, Lucca, Torre del Lago, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Chianti.

Japan was a full experience, great to observe and so pleased about our own Society in comparison . The tour was busy, informative, well guided and conducted with 1st class accommodation.

Well organised trip. Lilian, our tour manager went over and above to ensure that we were all safe and had enough information at all times to make safe choices. Our Japanese tour guide was a very sincere person and ensured that we understood Japanese expected protocol and gave us some background history along the tour. Hotels were excellent with good choice of English and Japanese cuisine. The only negative is the generally poor choice for vegetarians and other diets in Japanese restaurants and confusing labelling but this does not reflect on Titan and hopefully will improve with more exposure to these diets. Very enjoyable experience.

I contacted Newmarket Holidays to pay the balance of my holiday. I spoke to Bree & she was very helpful, knowledgable, experienced, polite & friendly. It was a pleasure speaking to her. Now looking forward to my holiday.

We have just come back from an amazing tour of South America and our first Titan group tour. The whole experience was beyond our expectations, it was wonderful. Everything was so well organised and went to plan. It was a busy and tiring adventure with so many highlights along the way. It was expertly managed by Darren Wheatley, our tour manager who provided a top class service throughout. The local guides provided additional expert knowledge of the locations we visited. We will certainly be booking with Titan again for another adventure holiday !

We had a great trip to New Zealand and Alex Becarra was without doubt the best Tour Guide we have ever had. Each day we had the programme posted to us on Whatsapp so we knew the meeting times,bag out times etc. The Kiwi driver Lawrie was amazing giving us information the whole trip whilst driving

We were fortunate that we had such knowledgeable and helpful tour guides. They ensured that the less agile were catered for and organized additional outings and meals not in the itinerary. The action-packed itinerary included all the main sites. The view of Mount Fuji from the Hakone Ropeway was magical. Also it was the right time of year to enjoy the cherry blossom. In addition we had some practical experiences in marquetry, calligraphy and cooking Japanese food. All great fun! Overall a thoroughly enjoyable and well organized holiday. Just a few points which may be considered for the future: 1. The path to the Jigokundani Monkey Park was treacherous. Suitable footwear was essential. 2. The excursion to Naoshima “Art Island” could have included a shuttle bus to allow a visit to the Art Museum. 3. The Ryokan experience was great but spoilt by a noisy A/C unit even when turned off.

Super organised itinerary which maximised our 2 week Essence of Japan time. Our Titan tour leader (Sarah) and our Japanese guide (Yoshiko) both went well above and beyond duty to ensure everyone had their best experience. Can't recommend this trip more highly. Well done!

Titan Grand Tour of South America This was our first trip to South America and our first experience of a group tour. From start to finish we had the most fabulous adventure. The tour covers highlights of 4 countries in just 22 days, so the schedule is packed and there were some early starts and long days, but no wasted moments. There were great cities: Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. There were iconic sights: Macchu Pichu, Iguazu Falls, Christ the Redeemer. There was beautiful scenery: crossing the Andes with the coach journeys interspersed with a series of catamaran sailings across the lakes was a particular highlight. There was sea, there was sun. Then there was our tour manager Darren Wheatley. Darren was extremely knowledgeable, fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, a good photographer, professional, patient, kind, thoughtful, helpful, good humoured. He took care that everyone was included and gently guided choices to ensure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. Without doubt Darren was a big part of the success of this tour. A big thank you to him and to our fellow adventurers who were also great.

We have just returned from a Titan Essence of Japan tour & it was a wonderful trip. Kate, our tour guide looked after us so well, making sure we saw everything we wanted to see & more. The hotels were good - it was a great tour!

Just returned from the holiday of a lifetime The Grand Tour of South America. WOW WOW WOW WOW One massive WOW to each country of Peru Chile Argentina & Brazil. It’s just a pipe dream to think you’ll ever go somewhere so magical. Titan made a dream reality! Each Country has its own unique magic & our fantastic Tour Manager Darren Wheatley made every day exciting with his calm voice full of friendly knowledge & advice made us all reassured that we were all going to have a magically fantastic time. What an adventure everyone had with stories of this tour that will last a lifetime. Darren ensured everything went smoothly from Check ins to Check outs regardless whether this was at Airports, Hotels, Coaches or Boats! That just left us to enjoy everything that was there in front if our very eyes.. Machu Picchu.. The Sacred Valley.. Cuzco..Lima..Santiago.. Bariloche.. Patagonia.. The Andes.. Buenos Aires.. Rio de Janeiro.. Copacabana Beach.. Christ The Redeemer.. Sugar Loaf Mountain & for me personally on my Free Days .. The football stadiums of Boca Juniors..,River Plate.. and the mighty Maracana Stadium.. all made easier to visit by our incredible Tour Manager Darren Wheatley. He worked so hard & his knowledge & expertise is amazing but his real gift that cannot be taught is his calm reassurance that gave everyone the confidence to go out & enjoy every moment in these wonderful places. Life isn’t about how many breaths you take, it’s about how many times your breath is taken away. We had lost count after day 7 of this magnificent 22 day holiday with each day offering more. The beautiful major cities of Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro had their own qualities and our tour guide Darren superbly steered us around suggesting places to eat, extra things to see or visit outside of the itinerary whilst keeping us safe, timely and engaged, especially during transfer days. His patience, humour and dual language reassured everyone throughout the trip in addition to daily guides. The sights of Machu Picchu, Bariloche, Iguazo falls, Christ the Redeemer and Sugar loaf Mountain were breathtaking and it’s hard to see how Titan could actually improve the experience without adding several extra days just so we could soak up the moments. Would recommend without hesitation.

Just returned from our tour of South America, what a great adventure, visiting four countries with different cultures. The tour had many highlights making it hard to pick the best one! Our tour manager, Darren Wheatley, was excellent in organising us all and also making suggestions of places to visit in free time, a great asset to Titan, hope Darren is our tour manager on our next tour!. Just returned from the most fantastic tour around South America with Titan. It was so diverse and magical with so many highlights and memories that will live with me forever. We have just returned from the Titan South America Tour and have had the most fabulous time. Everything has been so well organised and fun, safe, exciting and entertaining from start to finish. Our tour guide Darren Wheatley was beyond excellent. He is kind, friendly, experienced, inclusive, funny, professional, knowledgeable and he made himself easily available, even arranging outings in his own time to direct many of us to the best areas to eat or sightsee in cities unfamiliar to us. The tour was perfectly balanced with cities and countryside, astonishing iconic places to see and rest days. From Macchu Picchu to Rio, and even crossing the Andes by boat and bus, every day was amazing. Altogether this has been a wonderful holiday. Cannot fault anything and will 100% recommend this Titan tour. As Darren said- "It's not a holiday - it's an adventure!" And it really was. Sheila Churchill

Cannot believe how wonderful it was.darren is my star.looked after all of us.We were a big party.He worked so hard all the time.made sure we were all safe and saw everything .amazing views. FABULOUS cities. Took us for super meals.And group evenings.The coaches were clean and comfortable. Good guides.great group of people.
