Serviceseeking advertises "Lawn mowing Mt Helena $20 - $30/hr". First reply $100-$150/hr 2-3 people +. (I am 73 and can do it in 2 hours.) Fraud? Misleading?

I found service seekings leads to not be too bad. We had a couple jobs , low ROI overall.

I found service seekings leads to not be too bad. We had a couple jobs , low ROI overall.
First time user, I placed a very detailed add with plenty of photos . Most people did not come back with actual quotes but offering a phone call (which never ended up in a better offer to those that actually made an offer). Also, I got contacted by someone who claimed to be "new on the platform" but somehow had 339 reviews, some as old as 2020. When I asked him about it he said this was an error of the page as he had just started with service seeking. That made me not trust the platform altogether as it seems the data is messed up.

For trades... this is a complete scam and con - If they are legit at all... they have over subscribed in spectacular fashion... for our 200 leads... i can say 100% are closed within 12 hours (ie so many trades replied... the cleint has closed the lead... yet as a trade.. im still paying for the lead that has closed... it would also be accurate to say 99% of leads... are closed within 1 hr... i have had leads come through at 4am... that are closed by 5am... have completely given up on even bothering to respond and written off the subscription fee as a scam.... for trades... strongly advise to take the fee and burn it.. it will be lest costly than spending the time on chasing fake leads... or spend the cash on google seo...
A bunch of trashed people. Got a guy who would like to take my job then took me 5 days to confirm as he only text me one time in the morning. Yes reply will be on next morning very early which when I see his text will be too late. That's fine, after confirming the job then it is so hard to lock in a day to get my things done. What he done was again ask me every early morning can he come. I was the one who paid so I think he should work around with my schedule. Finally I get some other people to get my job done not from serviceseeker.
Minimum amount you can spend is $100 before knowing the quality of the service. Takes $2 for every lead even if you don't bid on the job. Unethical, doesn't give refunds. Should have a cool off period if you're taking $100 off the bat.
MINUS 1 star . BEWARE Unqualified trades they look like unemployed dads. NEVER AGAIN!!! My bad experience too much to write ! JUST RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS BOGUS SIGHT !
Please do not use. They do not vet the suppliers, no accountability if things do not go to plan or if there are problems. You can write a poor review on their site, but that won't stop them from advertising their details.
Worst service, total rip off
I’m trying to contact them trying to open leads it takes me to dead end page trying to call them the bot keeps answering saying they will call back why don’t they hire people to answer absolute nonsense and I’ve already paid the $100 for 45 leads can’t access any I’m done with this company
DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Tradesmen quote one price after receiving a detailed and accurate description of the work then up the quote a thousand dollars after visiting the site as it is acreage. My selected contractor seems to have cash flow problems - he got me to pay for some materials then added an unpaid account for another customer to the amount. Just avoid Services Seeking (SS) and try ringing friends for recommendations.
Yash, who visited my property for cleaning. His service was extremely worst—he left my house dirty and also damaged my blinds and property. Despite my efforts to reach him via phone and messages, he has not responded. I don't know why they would have such service provider. Where I would take you to ACCC if things are not fixed.
I have noticed they are not a correct with distance service range, for example if u have it set as 20km they will send u a lead saying its 15km when it's really about 25 30km away which would be outside what u askdd fir and they wont refund the lead .They have done this multiple times. Just be wary and make sure the distance they state in the lead is correct.
I highly recommend ASR Contracting PTY LTD in completing work that was required when I requested their service. The service was exceptional in every aspect of what was needed to complete my patio and walk- way being paved, any delays I was consulted immediately, which I really appreciated. The team were always available to answer any questions that arose during the process of the work, which I was thankful for. Even going an extra mile to complete work that wasn't even scheduled, with no added cost. I recommend ASR Contracting as the quality of work was consistently outstanding and very impressed with their professional and customer service

I would of giving these guys a 4 star review but due to them calling me about renewing my subscription I kindly told them I don’t want to this year but I’ll be signing up in the future when I need the service they still took out the money and I can’t get ahold of them and when I did they said it will be processed within 5 business days and they will take an admin fee out which I was ok with I just wanted most of the money back and yet still nothing. Now they will never see me sign back up ever again and they get a 1 star review which seem common for this business
