Not the worst platform I've used but this is definitely the worst experience I've had with support.
Had an issue, sent in a support ticket. Response I got was something along the lines of "We have no idea why this issue is happening. Please try again because you're the only one with this issue."
Yet if you check their discord there's at least 6 other users having the same said issue. Some of which have had it unresolved for months.
Did they resolve my issue? Nope. They closed the support ticket without even resolving the issue. It's still there as a matter of fact.
I speculate everything is vibe coded because even when you generate a custom AI to share, the link it spits out is an invalid link. You just have to fix a few characters there, change an = sign to a / and get rid of ? or so.
But the question is why? This is an easy fix, unless of course you don't have any actual devs who know what they're doing. This would never fly at an actual company. Devs always check their work. Like this is just a really bad look. Did no one check the code before it shipped?
I question how many of these 5 star reviews are real. One mentions "no bullshit token system." The "moments" that you get monthly for free with your sub don't roll over. So there clearly is a "bullshit token system"
Oh but you're an adult with real life obligations and sometimes you can't use the platform that often for whatever reason? Too bad guess you're not their target demographic.
Yea, that's right use them or lose them. Pretty anti customer value right there. I've seen some terrible platforms but this is one of the worst practices out there.
Sure, the value of how many images you can generate is above average compared to other platforms and even the quality but the problem is if you don't use the tokens in the month guess what? The value is technically infinitely worse than every platform where the tokens do roll over from the monthly sub.
Videos are actually more expensive than most platforms. About 10% more on average
People claim they don't nickel and dime you but they do. There's two different image generators, and advanced and the premium. In order to generate an image of your custom on the advanced generator you gotta pay 100 moments PER character.
Despite the fact you already paid to create the character.
Chat has a limit of around 3000 characters of a response from the AI, and allows a max response of 2000 characters from the user on the highest sub tier that's pretty decent until you realized the cost of the sub is anywhere between double to 8x more than other services.
There are literally services that cost half or less that provide that or more, granted their image gen might be slightly weaker but that doesn't justify the cost if you ask me.
So is it better than some? Sure Is it 2x to 8x better for the value of what you're paying? No. Objectively no, it is not.
If you like generating images but aren't interested in the conversation or video gen. This is the platform for you, assuming you like to bang out several images within the month and every month because remember the tokens that come with your sub don't roll over.
To add insult to injury they mention "oh but the additional ones you buy outside your sub do roll over" Oh why thank you for telling me to spend more money to get something that should already be the default.
But that doesn't resolve the issue that the ones that come with your sub, which you paid for don't roll over.
Key issues they need to resolve:
- Make sure everything on your site actually works and the front end and back end is actually checked.
- Train your support better (no one else is having this issue bro is a terrible response especially when there are several users for months that actually have that issue)
- Lower the cost of the highest tier or improve the value, 30 monthly on an annual sub paid in advance is robbery for the value especially when those tokens that come with the sub don't roll over.
- Roll over the tokens that come with the monthly sub, sometimes people are busy and unable to use those tokens since they have real life obligations to deal with.
