While the book covers all the periods well, I felt like it didn't go deep enough into some crucial themes. The practice tests were harder than the actual exam, which I guess is good for preparation. The writing style is dry but informative.

Crammed with this book two weeks before the exam and managed to get a 4! The key concept summaries at the end of each chapter are gold. Wish the maps were clearer, but overall very satisfied with the results.

This book covers everything from ancient civilizations to modern global connections in a logical way. The test-taking strategies section was particularly helpful for managing time during the exam. Some sections could use more detail, but overall it's a solid investment for any AP World student. The online resources that come with it are a nice bonus too.
