Excellent food and service The communication throughout was excellent; lots of menu choices and alternatives for vegetarian and vegan family members. Would defiantly book again

Having hired a house in the Cotswolds to celebrate my 50th with a group of family and friends, I was very excited to hire a private chef and Mike produced an absolutely fabulous evening of canapes followed by a three course dinner. Notwithstanding that all cooking had to be done on an AGA which seemed to have only one temperature level (hell-fire hot) the food was absolutely exceptional and barely a crumb was left on anyone's plate. Mike introduced every course and everything was just presented beautifully - consensus on the table was that it was one of the best meals we had ever eaten. Waiting staff were also amazing and kitchen was left spotless afterwards.

despite very difficult travel a conditions on the night which made everyone late including Michael he and his team put together a great meal and delivered it to us with good hummer panache and style took full account of the dietary requirements and the pace at which we wanted the evening to go will look to use him again

Chef Michael was punctual professional and food was to a very high standard, the home made sourdough bread was superb along with all the food. His suggestion that I would need a waiter (although I was a bit tentative) was spot on and left us to enjoy the experience. The waiter (another Michael!) was professional and courteous and made my wife’s 60th go without a hitch.Also no washing up to do when everyone has left!!!! Excellent service and delicious food!

We had Mike cook a 6 course taster meal for 10 people. The food was unbelievable. Every dish was amazing. Mike just blended in and made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable for everyone. Would highly recommend.

This was the second time Mike has cooked for us and yet again presented us with the most delicious 6 course meal, cooked to perfection. Mike's communication leading up to the date was brilliant, making sure he had all of our dietary requirements and adjusting the menu to suit. He was punctual, polite and left the kitchen spotless. Carol, our waitress for the evening, was really friendly and made sure our drinks were always topped up! I would 100% recommend Mike to anyone who would like that extra special dining experience and can't wait to book him again!

The whole dinner went very smoothly from the initial enquiry through to Mike leaving the kitchen. The guests loved the food, which was well presented and sumptuous.

Mike cooked a beautiful meal for my husband’s special birthday. We were staying in an Airbnb in the Cotswolds that luckily had everything we needed! It was a fantastic evening, Mike produced beautiful, tasty food and he and Carol, his trusty helper, were so relaxed and efficient, I could leave everything to them and enjoyed the evening too! The meal was definitely the highlight of the weekend and I can’t recommend Mike highly enough. We would definitely do again if the opportunity presented itself.

In an exceptionally short timescale Mike planned and created an incredible 6 course menu for a special birthday dinner for a group of 8 global foodies. From the initial engagement, through to the moment Mike left, the execution was faultless. Carol was incredible in ensuring all were looked after for drinks and service throughout the evening. Mike catered for 9 at my 50th birthday at Dover’s Rise in the Cotswold. Mike was brilliant from beginning to end. From the planning phase weeks before the event, to execution on the day. The food was delicious. The service was seamless and clear up was as if he and Carol had not been there at all. The memories will last a lifetime and we'll definitely be hiring him again.

Mike communicated really well from start to finish, he’s a great organiser and even when I threw something at him last minutes, he sorted it out quickly and patiently. The food was exquisite, well presented and literally melted in your mouth. We had a very fussy vegetarian in our party of 10 ladies and she was very impressed too. He listened to our preferences and created the perfect menu. Plates were cleaned and he hired a waitress for us and she was excellent too. I would call Mike back any time I have a private dinner party as it meant I could sit back relax and enjoy the evening too. Thank you Mike

Mike cooked for me and my best friends on my 60th. birthday. He planned the menu with us and dealt with all our varied and difficult requests. He is very professional and just turned up and looked after us. He is a really nice guy and pleasure to have as part of our gathering. This is the third time Mike has looked after us, and we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Found Mike on the internet. He was quick to respond and provide his menu. He was flexible with our requirements; times, dishes etc. Good regular communication prior to our dinner. He turned up on time and provided a superb meal for 15 people of various ages. We used a great waitress too - thank you Sarah. Thank you Mike. We will definitely use you again.

Wonderful evening meal, prepared, cooked and cleared by Mike. Amazing fresh food, presented beautifully and very well received. We have absolutely loved having a Personal Chef for the evening. A first for us all and such a treat. Thank you Mike.

Mike prepared a lovely BBQ for a family weekend away in the Cotswold. The meal started off with canapés that were well prepared and super tasty followed by a BBQ with great quality meat. He was really helpful and responsive on emails before the event. We all loved it and will definitely use his services again in the future.

We used Mike in January to cook a three course meal for my husband and I along with 8 of our friends at our home. A couple of days before he came he called to check that the wine had arrived (through another company) and to confirm all details. He organised a waitress to come with him for the evening. She was great and helped serve food, wine and the meal, she also cleaned and loaded the dishwasher seamlessly. Mike is very personable and was engaging throughout the meal, telling us what we were having for each course as we went. The food was outstanding and even though we were in the kitchen/diner whilst he was cooking, it was seamless and almost forgot that we weren't in a restaurant. I would recommend Mike for future events and I'm sure we will be requiring his services again.

Mike is a fabulous chef. The dinner he made for us (10 people) was superb in every respect. He was also exceptionally pleasant and straightforward to work with. We are actively looking for dates for a repeat as it was such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
