I want to share my experience with NGT Academy so others can make informed decisions.
When I enrolled, I was promised:
• A high-paying tech job within 14 weeks.
• Nine industry-recognized certifications.
• Ongoing support from a mentor, tutor, and career coach.
What I actually received was very different:
• Outdated curriculum (Kali Linux and Metasploitable labs that didn’t even run without outside help).
• Career services that failed to deliver — my resume is still incomplete, and LinkedIn issues were never resolved despite multiple attempts.
• Minimal contact or support, despite repeated requests.
Nearly a year later, I am left with over $13,000 in student loan debt for a program that has not delivered on its promises. The only certification I earned (Security+) was through my own independent study, not NGT’s training.
If you’ve had a similar experience, I strongly encourage you to file complaints with the:
• Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
• Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
• Your State Attorney General’s Office
• Better Business Bureau (BBB)
These complaints matter. They build the record regulators need to take action, and they protect future students from being misled.
Education should be about opportunity, not deception. If you’ve experienced the same, please speak up.
