The program is really well planned. The deadline and the guidebook helped me stay on track throughout the program and the writing center is also very helpful especially during the last few weeks. My program manager and mentor were honestly very supportive throughout the program and also flexible when it came to last minute changes in my schedule. I would definitely recommend partaking in the Lumiere Research Program to any and all students interested in research.

Lumiere was one of the most transformative experiences I've ever had. It's more than a research, it's a whole new path. My mentor matching was perfect, I didn't even expect to have such an amazing person and a professional. Have to admit, it was intense, but worth every second. Moreover, I was awarded a full scholarship, which made it possible for me to participate, and I will be forever grateful for that. Lumiere Education was a wonderful journey that I'll never forget in my life! It was a journey that taught me various new things, and an in-depth analysis of the topic I had chosen, guided by a professional mentor. It is a professional platform, and I would recommend it to any student seeking experience and in-depth analysis of their subject of choice, which would later help them with their college applications.

Overall, the Lumiere experience was great, and I think it taught me a lot about research as a whole and all the aspects that go into conducting a fully developed research paper. Throughout my experience, my program manager as well as the writing team were very valuable in providing feedback and got back to me in a very timely manner. Lumiere was such a game-changer for me! The support from my mentor was incredible—she not only guided me through the research process but also shared her own experiences, which made everything feel more approachable. I liked my mentor a lot. She helped me with everything, not just with my research; but also with my college applications. Writing center was very rigorous. They helped me a lot on how to use the paper format.

They only ever asked PhDs like me to volunteer and they never compensated me.

Lumiere scheduled a zoom appointment to meet with me today and didn't show. There is no one to respond by email, chat, or phone. This despite Lumiere sending a reminder email 15 minutes before the session.

I'm really grateful for the opportunity Lumiere provided. As someone who had never been involved in high-level research, I found it to be an incredibly valuable experience. My mentor was really nice and helpful, and she guided me throughout my journey, even though I had some personal troubles that prevented me from scheduling regular meetings. Also, Lumiere provides aid for low-income students, so I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Doing a research with Lumiere is one of my life experience that I can't forget. It helped me to know my capacity and passion well. It pushed me more to my dream which I want to reach for the future. The people were so humble and open to any questions. It was an amazing experience that you face a new challenge every week which makes even stronger. Sorry, I did not find the correct words to express how much my experience was great. As an international student living in a country with very limited opportunities and with a family in a very limited financial situation, Lumiere offers me the opportunity to do research and they cover all the expenses. I think these people are doing great things, and I hope to be part of it when I grow up.

My experience at Lumiere has definitely been one of the highlights of my high school career. Under the guidance of a mentor, writing coaches and publication experts, I aways had someone to turn to when I faced an obstacle while conducting my research and writing my paper. The support from all sides is what makes Lumiere such a special program. I would definitely recommend if for anyone who wishes to enhance their high school experience and gain more skills in research in an area of their interest!
