This was my fourth time. And this time I attended the course with my wife. It’s not just a course, it’s also a social organisation for improving your language.

Very warm and exciting atmosphere plus great discover of each topic we have learned

I rate the lessons I participated in very highly. My teacher, Lavinia, was excellent; I really liked her way of conducting lessons. She was always open to any suggestions from our group and was also very consistent.

Please, there are many points that I faced when I was in the school. I want to tell the heard about som important issues.

Excellent standard of teaching. I reallty enjoy my weekly sessions. Although I have a good understanding of Spanish I make many mistakes. I feel comfortable in the class to just go for it, make mistakes and be corrected so I learn. The back office team is also great. Super quick at responding to requests and always extremely helpful.

The school has a family atmosphere and you feel comfortable. Everyone knows you by name. I attended General English and Business English classes as well as 1:1s. The Business English didn't quite meet my expectations, but it's also difficult to cover all expectations with classroom lessons. The level of English also varied and changed from week to week. I would have liked to watch more BBC News and talk about it. On my next visit I will book as many 1:1 lessons as possible. I can recommend this investment to every student. I found all the teachers very competent. The school organises social activities in the evenings and I really appreciated that. Furthermore, the lunch was always very good too. Don't miss out on it.

Very good experience

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful time I spent at the School of English in London. From the receptionist to the teachers and coordinators, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive — in fact, I can’t quite find a word in Portuguese that fully captures how helpful you all were to me. The quality of the teaching is outstanding, and the experience was made even more special by the students themselves — such a motivated and respectful group of people. I truly enjoyed every moment, and I would definitely return and highly recommend the school to anyone looking for a serious, complete, and welcoming English learning experience.

Verry professional! Good teacher. Wonderful atmosphere. So many people from different countries and so interesting to get to know their culture. It was a pleasure to be there. I’ll come back, that’s for sure.

Great experience with The London School of English !

At the very beginning of my 6-week stay, we faced some challenges in finding a suitable solution for me, as there were not enough students from my professional sector. In the end, the school resolved the issue by offering me 1-1 tuition — which turned out to be fantastic. My trainer and I were a perfect match. She was the best choice they could have made: highly spirited, energetic, humorous, thoroughly prepared for every lesson, and always willing to cover any topic or area I was interested in. She even involved her friends and family in recording audio samples about weekend activities — all to enhance my language skills. I looked forward to every lesson with her, and time just flew by. After 3 weeks of intensive learning, I even decided to extend my stay by another week. Although I was not entirely satisfied with the first week and the challenges I had to face, the client experience manager supported me in a truly helpful and charming manner until all issues were resolved. All in all, a 5/5 experience!

I have always liked English, and that’s the simple reason why I came here. This is my first time studying abroad. The teachers were great, the lunch was delicious, and the area around the school was very comfortable for me. I felt very relaxed here. The office staff were also well-organized and helpful. Now I clearly understand what I need to work on next. I want to come back to this school someday as a better me.
