We had grant work carried out by LMF Energy Services, including dry lining insulation, heat pump, solar panels, including changing radiators, upgarding fuseboard, fitting hgh pressure hot water cylinder etc.
I was really impressed by this company.. the communication, the workmanship, the pleasant and co-operative staff. I can wholeheartedly recommend them (rare nowadays!!) If you are considering LMF and would like to view their work on my place then I'm fine with that (LMF job ref was ECO4-2235)
From the very beginning to speaking to the girls on the phone to the men completing the work, this was a great experience.
Every team who came to the property were respectful, hard working and approachable.
The core LMF team worked none stop, they left the house clean and tidy and we're very conscientious. Decent men and lads who were all very friendly and polite. Thank you very much
Arrived when arranged. Electrian excellent and very clean finish left. Installers very efficient and professional. Fixed loose tiles while they were installing. Would recommend.
Came and did the job very quickly. However it’s another thing when trying to get the certificate from them to pass on to my energy supplier. I have been asking now since the end of April since the job was completed but still no certificate and it’s almost end of August! Until I receive it I am not going to benefit from the solar panels.
Great experience from this company and their employees who came to do the solar panel installation. They were friendly and professional and did a good job. Really good experience overall
Overall the rating would actually have been 5 stars as the service up to an including the main installation was excellent. However, trying to get help afterwards is another matter. I rang LMF at the beginning of March to ask about pigeon proofing the panels and despite being promised a call back it is now July and I am still waiting! Also, pigeon proofing was never mentioned by LMF during the whole process and we were not aware it would be an issue, having roosting birds taking a liking to living under the panels. As a consequence we had to pay another contractor to come out and pigeon proof our panels due to LMF not returning my call. Whether they provide this I don’t know as I was never able to ask! Thankfully we didn’t need to have scaffolding erected again, already had to pay for that with LMF plus and additional £500 because a bit of the scaffold had to go on an extension roof (which incidentally broke 3 of our new roofing tiles) which really wasn’t needed in my opinion as the guys never used that bit of the scaffold!
Overall the pigeon issues aside, LMF did a great job and I would recommend them if you want solar panels installed. Service for the actual installation was excellent.
I have been happy with LMF Energy Services from the offset. They have kept me informed of what was happening from the scaffolders, Danny and Matty who put up the scaffolding really quickly and efficiently, the solar panel installers Oliver and Lee who turned up a day earlier than expected, phoned and asked if they could come early which I agreed to and finished the install that evening. I had the final person, the electrician Liam who came today to connect up my panels for me :) I am now up and running and the whole install took place in under 2 weeks. Would highly recommend to anyone :) - thank you.
LMF installed 9 solar panels on our roof. The installation went very well, apart from the electrics which turned out to be rather more complicated than the surveyor had suggested, although everything does work perfectly well. To be honest, I would have given them a 5 star rating but their after sales service leaves something to be desired. We are still waiting to receive the information we need to pass on to our energy supplier so that we can start being paid for the electricity that we are exporting to the grid. It has been almost 8 weeks now, despite them saying it would be 4 weeks at the most.
Installation was well organised and efficient, enabling us to use spare capacity from the roof to charge our ev.
Sadly a hole was torn in our roof felt which we are waiting to have repaired.
Just had my solar panels fitted within a month from my first enquiry! All the team from the scaffolders, electricians, roofers and the team in the office were very polite and the whole process runs at military precision!
They fitted them in 1 day and again all the guys were brilliant!
