We had grant work carried out by LMF Energy Services, including dry lining insulation, heat pump, solar panels, including changing radiators, upgarding fuseboard, fitting hgh pressure hot water cylinder etc.
I was really impressed by this company.. the communication, the workmanship, the pleasant and co-operative staff. I can wholeheartedly recommend them (rare nowadays!!) If you are considering LMF and would like to view their work on my place then I'm fine with that (LMF job ref was ECO4-2235)
From the very beginning to speaking to the girls on the phone to the men completing the work, this was a great experience.
Every team who came to the property were respectful, hard working and approachable.
The core LMF team worked none stop, they left the house clean and tidy and we're very conscientious. Decent men and lads who were all very friendly and polite. Thank you very much
Arrived when arranged. Electrian excellent and very clean finish left. Installers very efficient and professional. Fixed loose tiles while they were installing. Would recommend.
Ordered solar panels through them under the government scheme. Felt I was rushed into it to a certain extent & I was asked to sign paperwork without being able to view it & had to chase up a couple of times to get this through. I wouldn't sign until I'd seen it.
Guys arrived on the day shut down the existing meter before I was able to get a reading from it, which has caused problems with the billing since.
Everything seemed to work at the time & they left, but the next day I lost all power, as they had put an insufficient fuse on & when switching from night to day mode (when the panels turn on) it blew my entire system.
However, the problems were dealt with quickly, all of the staff from the surveyor, office personnel & the electrician's themselves were lovely to deal with & I've not experienced any issues with the panels since they've been fitted.
I had previously had night storage heating & additional electric heating installed by this company in 2019 & they've all worked very well with no issues.
Would I recommend them? Yes, problems can occur with any installation, the test is how the company deals with issues & in this case they were super responsive & got everything working really quickly.
Your on site operatives are a great bunch of guys who are efficient careful and very considerate. Our only gripe is the administration department are lacking by not keeping clients informed of schedules & timings. IMF responded to our gripes by apologising & stating how busy the company has been.
After submitting a bad reviews i wish to change it,have had a call from Joe explaining why the can't fit the solar panels on my roof,my roof pitch is not high enough for the panel's to fit,so now i know i can't have them fitted,should really have been picked up on the survey,old house so easy to overlook this,but thanking Joe finding the time to explain,but seem like a good company,

Had solar panels been positioned on the garage, originally suggested by the client, the installation would have cost much less, producing a more efficient final system.
Lmfcs produced drawings locating panels on an unsuitable roof, this design was then changed.
Lmfcs central organisational skills require a great deal of improvement. Appointments were continually delayed, missed, and cancelled at the last minute.
Several solar panels were positioned proud leaving an exposed edge.
Location bars carrying the panels were not trimmed along the edge of each panel, producing an untidy roof appearance.
Nearly two months later we are still awaiting an information pack, which apparently includes a certificate number needed to register for export of electricity.
One smoke alarm began intermittently beeping the day after it was fitted. This beeping occasionally stops, sometimes for as long as a day then begins again, suggesting this is a faulty device. This was reported but no action has been taken.
Very pleased with the service so far scaffold erected very quickly and solar panels fitted a couple of days earlier than expect, but was called by the fitters to ask if it convenient and we were more than happy to accept. Solar panels were very quickly fitted, no more than a couple of hours.
Not had electrician wire them up yet but I have been reassured I will have a call this week.
All in all so far so good π
