Wij hebben Lava Carrental ervaren als een prima bedrijf. De procedure zowel bij het ophalen als afleveren van de auto verliep snel, duidelijk en klantvriendelijk. Er is geen borg gerekend en het bedrijf is transparant over de reeds aanwezige schade. Dit wordt keurig per mail in een document gedeeld. Na aflevering van de auto volgt, na goedkeuring, heel snel de bevestiging per mail. Gratis pendel service van en naar de luchthaven. Keurig geregeld allemaal.

Fabulous experience with Lava Car Rental. Came to Iceland for 4 days in December with my boyfriend. When we arrived at the airport a shuttle was outside waiting for us to take us to collect the car. Was a smooth process, went inside signed a waiver then got the keys. Car was brilliant and equipped well for Icelands weather. Drop off was also a breeze then they took us back to the airport. Would defo recommend.

A pesar de que llegábamos de madrugada a Keflavik, su servicio de transporte nos permitió llegar a sus oficinas (cerca del aeropuerto) y recoger el Toyota RAV4 4x4 que habíamos contratado. Contratamos el seguro completo y las condiciones del contrato eran más competitivas que las del resto de empresas de alquiler. Fue un acierto contratar con Lava Car Rental.

This was our first time renting from Lava Car Rental primarily for their reviews. In our past two trips to Iceland, the first being planned by Nordic Visitor in Reykjavik and the second trip we rented at the airport, also good. Although our car was changed upon our very early morning arrival, it was still the same model I reserved so that was fine. They have a large selection and I was particularly looking for a vehicle with studded snow tires as this rental was in early December with snow and ice. They're very accommodating and there were no extra fees for this. We plan to return to Iceland and when we do we'll start with Lava Car Rental first as we know they're trustworthy and their customer service team are great. I bought the Full Insurance Protection package for peace of mind having previous driving knowledge of the Iceland roads in Summer and being December, I knew the weather and roads could be challenging.

All that was promised was infact as it should be. Very nice and very satisfied!

Absolutely recommend Lava Car Rental. I read so many company reviews before finally decided on Lava - and I’m so glad we did! The airport pick up is fantastic and only a very short ride away from the airport. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive and the car selection is vast! 100% opt for the full insurance package to put your mind at ease and know that you’re fully covered. The check out was a breeze and I will 100% be recommending them to anyone travelling here and can’t wait to come back!

I travel to Iceland a lot, and this is my go-to rental car company. I think I've rented from them 8 or 9 times. Pick-up is always easy (just remember to go to the DEPARTURES area outside to be picked up), it's just a short ride from the airport, and I usually get the car I want or one very similar. Plus, out of all the companies, I have consistently found them to offer the lowest rental prices.

When we arrived in Iceland at the airport the pick up service was there within 20 minutes. We were at Lava quickly, which was great. The vehicle that we were supposed to rent was not available. We ended up with a Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid. Great car, lots of room for everybody and our luggage. The only downside was the tank was not even half full, even though they said it would be full. When we returned the car, everything went very smoothly. We were in and out and at the airport within 20 minutes. We were very impressed with the staff overall.Made for a great trip in Iceland!

Really helpful sorting the car and checking in during rental. Car was set up perfectly for the conditions with winter tyres, the addition of the fuel discount was a bonus. Only down side is in the airport you don’t get the shuttle where the sign suggests, keep going to the left. We also found only one person collecting people which with quite a few people to be picked up meant them racing to get in first leading to quite a cold wait outside or risk staying in the warm until the next shuttle and other people jumping you to get it first.

Noleggio auto perfetto, personale gentile ed efficiente. La macchina era in ottimo stato e non abbiamo mai avuto problemi! Un pochino di coda al ritiro dell'auto ma nulla di che. Comodo il passaggio da/per l'aeroporto offerto gratuitamente.
