Kel Tec P17 Reviews

It's okay for the price but feels pretty cheap in the hand. Function has been mostly reliable though I did have a few light strikes early on. Seems to be breaking in better now. The sights are pretty basic and could use an upgrade.

After about 1000 rounds, this little gun has proven itself. Yes, it's picky about ammo and yes, it feels cheap, but it goes bang when you pull the trigger and that's what matters. The high capacity makes it great for training drills. Just keep it clean and use quality ammo.

Don't let the price fool you - this little gun can shoot. I'm getting decent groups at 25 yards and it's been reliable with CCI Mini-Mags. The grip feels good in my hands despite being polymer. Only complaint is the magazine can be tricky to load when full.

It's a basic .22 that works most of the time. Nothing fancy but gets the job done for casual shooting.

Had high hopes based on reviews but mine came with a rough trigger and some feeding problems right out of the box. Customer service was helpful and offered to look at it, but shouldn't have these issues on a new gun. The concept is great but execution needs work.

Bought this for my wife to learn on and it's been perfect. Low recoil, easy to handle, and cheap to shoot. The high capacity means less reloading during practice sessions. Sights are basic but functional. Would definitely recommend for new shooters or anyone wanting an affordable .22 pistol.

Good little .22 for plinking and training new shooters. Accurate enough for what it is and the price can't be beaten.

Wanted something cheap to shoot that wouldn't cost a fortune in ammo. This fits the bill perfectly. It's not a precision instrument but it's fun to shoot and reliable enough for plinking. The 16-round capacity means more shooting, less loading.

16+1 rounds in such a compact package is impressive. Trigger could be better and the finish shows wear quickly, but for range fun it's hard to beat. Just wish the magazines were easier to find.

The capacity is great and it's lightweight, but I've had some feeding issues with certain ammo brands. Seems to prefer higher velocity rounds. When it runs, it runs well, but the inconsistency is frustrating. Build quality feels a bit plasticky but that's expected at this price point.

Really impressed with this little pistol. The 16+1 capacity is fantastic for such a compact frame, and it's been reliable through about 500 rounds so far. The trigger is surprisingly decent for the price point, though it could be a bit crisper. Perfect for range training without breaking the bank.

Bought this as my first handgun and it's been a great introduction. Easy to clean, simple operation, and forgiving to shoot. The safety features give me confidence as a new owner. Would recommend to other beginners looking for an affordable option.
