My rental experience at Inghams was excellent. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful young lady behind the desk who made the whole process simple and pleasurable. The communication before and during the rental period was great, I received helpful reminders and updates. The actual vehicle and rental rates were also extremely good. We would not hesitate to use Inghams in future.

Great to deal with pricing is far better than the usual suspects and the vehicles supplied are brilliant, would fully recommend these guys over the usual rental agencies

Everything about our car rental from Ingham Rentals was perfect. And the price was good - we got a new car for around the same price as a 5 year old one from most other companies. Every email was answered quickly and fully. The car we received was all but new (150kms on the clock) and it ran faultlessly. Our rental was affected by the Covid-19 lockdown which meant that we could not return the car on the scheduled date. Ingham's attitude was exemplary - just let us know when you can get a flight back to the UK and we'll sort out the return (at no additional cost). Handover at the airport worked out as planned. When we are able to return to NZ we will definately book with them again.

While visiting New Zealand, we rented a car from Ingham Rentals. The car was exactly as advertised. The Valet pick up at the airport went smoothly. The car APPEARED clean. On the second day, we noticed a foul odor. We searched the car, and couldn't find anything that would emit the odor we were experiencing. We returned the car on the third day. As we were making certain that we didn't leave anything in the car, we came upon the culprit of the odor. There was a carton of milk and some cookies left in the center console. The milk had spoiled, and caused the horrible odor.

Had a smooth and hassle-free experience with Ingham. They happily accommodated our after midnight arrival with a near-new vehicle that was exactly as per the booking (not 'or similar' like other car hire firms). All at a price well below the majors. I would recommend Ingham Rentals to anyone travelling in New Zealand.

I hired a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse on my recent trip to Te Awamutu from Ingham Rentals in TA, very reasonable price and insurance cost. The ladies in the rental reception were just lovely, very informative and professional. The vehicle itself was great to drive, clean and well presented. Definitely recommend them and will be using again myself.

Prices just can't be beaten... from the moment of searching online I thought this can't be right, this has to be a scam! But no the pricing was 100% genuine the next comparison rental company was near twice the price for an equivalent quote. The pick-up process took less than 2 minutes and received a brand new Triton with less than 1000ks on the clock. All the staff was superb from start to finish. Excellent vehicle at a fair price. I had difficulty contacting the rental number to check some details, and to extend the rental period. I eventually had to drive back to the depot and speak to them in person.
