I had a shocking experience with HML Lettings. When I moved in to my home managed by them there was disrepair throughout including a hole in the hallway, no curtain pole, holes in the window sill, skirting, cracks in the ceiling and insects. I asked the agent to put this right only to be either ignored or they used cowboy builders and contractors. The so called pest controller even asked me to investigate my own insect problem, asking me to knock on neighbour's doors to find out what the problem was! He filled in one tiny skirting area and charged the landlord £50! Needless to say there was still a continued problem with silverfish etc. I had to get my own professional tradesman to fill in some of the disrepair that HML was supposed to manage. Then HML Lettings sent another cowboy contractor to fill in some of the disrepair. He is not a carpenter, joiner or plasterer but a landscape gardener! His idea to fix the problem in some cases was to fill the holes with a tissue! He did an incomplete job. I still have a flaking ceiling with debris coming off. I was not informed that there was a leaking ceiling and if they were to send a contractor to fix it it would be futile as the roof leak would need to be fixed first. If they had been professional and honest they could have easily coordinated the necessary work with the management agents of the block which is HML Group. I understand that the landlord may be partially to blame but also HML Lettings management is very poor. They don't answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages or emails, only on rare occasions. I have made a complaint to the Head of Asset Management here but rather than seek redress he is trying to deflect blame and comes across as rude and arrogant. Don't take the other reviews at face value, they are often made up by the staff and employees of HML, just judge for yourself. HML lettings customer service is about as flaky as my ceiling!

I have always an excellent professional service from the Management and Accounts Team at HML Lettings. Palak Sutherland in accounts has always provided information in a timely manner and answered queries promptly.

The Luton Branch of HML have provided us with a very professional and friendly service in the letting out of our Dunstable property . As new landlords we opted for full management and our initial visit from David was very knowledgeable, offered us some excellent advice and was reassuring. I have been dealing with HML for a very long time. Some of the people that I have dealt with in the past were not pleasant but in the last few years everyone has been very professional.
My apartment has been rent out through HML for years. In compared to my previous rental agent, HML is much more reliable. I have to say thank you to their professional management team, especially to Lucy Ward and Linda Code. Both of them are fully trustful and highly recommended to support any property rental and sales and purchase transactions.
I have been renting from HML for nearly a year now with my friend, they have been utterly wonderful. Responsive, friendly, helpful and they really look after us all on these row of houses that rent from them. We are over the moon with their service!

We had a really good experience with HML, the viewing was good, Charlotte was very patient, thoughtful and nice to us during the entire process. After letting the house the team was also very supportive and fast in giving answers or fixing any problems we found after moving. The house was in a very good state when we moved and all small issues we found were sorted same or next day after moving. Five stars!!

I've been with HML Luton ever since they took over from Thornes. Overall, it has been a positive experience so far. Whenever I report an issue, it does get sorted out. The only problem at times has been the lack of communication as I had to chase things up with emails and phone calls that were not answered or returned. If not for David, I'm not sure how long things would have taken. He is always a pleasure to deal with, goes out of his way to help and nothing is too much trouble.
We have had an amazing service from Samantha when we rented our property all the process was smooth and we are very pleased with this agency. We would definetly encourage other people to try their services. Thank you HML for your amazing services so far

Linda and the team have managed my properties for a number of years and have proved themselves to be invaluable time and time again. They even helped me through the entire process when I needed to make a claim through my rental insurance making it a painless process of what could've been a nightmare had I not had them onboard sharing their advice and expertise. The entire team have always been professional, informative and efficient in every aspect and Linda has certainly gone above and beyond on many occasions.
