Waste of time, it doesn’t work. All it does is change the words and sometimes sentences doesn’t even make sense. Good luck with customer service, they are very rude in their responses.

I liked using this AI detector as it helps speed up the process of doing homework and allows me to focus my time on more important tasks. Never got detected by a professor when using Grubby so it does exactly what it says it will.

Just tried grubby for the first time. The writing isn’t perfect per se, but it’s not worse than any other humanizer. I tried it free and then got the $8 a month plan and I’m pretty happy.

You normally spend more time trying to fix the nonsense created by this "humanizer." It might work for short paragraphs. I typically work with about 200 words at a time. The outcome is useless, and I end up having to rewrite it by hand. Yes, it will pass AI detection... because it makes no freaking sense. I also had issues twice with the word count/plan in the first month.

I've been using Grubby.ai for a couple of months now. Was satisfied with it even though it occasionally changed the theme of humanised text. HOWEVER, what has made me rate it 3 stars is that the site is not been working in South Asia for over 2 months now. I can't even reach out to Customer Support as the message fails to deliver to CS from the site's Customer Support menu. It is June 2025 as of writing this review. Every time I try to sign in, I get the Forbidden Error 403 message. I can't access the site WITHOUT using a VPN, which is an unnecessary hassle.

terrible software. fails to generate the humanised text and I have tried multiple times to contact help and it fails

It is mentioned that the service supports 30 languages, but when I try to humanize Ukrainian text, all I get is a translation to English. That is not at all what is advertised. Also it is literally impossible to contact them. When I try to send a message by clicking the "help" button, I always get an error and nothing is sent. That all seems like a scam to me.

Not as advertised. Said I was gonna get humanized AI text, I got flagged 69% AI-Generated and left it worse than before.

I tried this tool for my thesis writing, but it does not work as advertised. Don't fall into the trap. I would not recommend anyone waste their money and energy on Grubby AI. I purchased a monthly subscription, and after generating the first few pieces of content, I realized it was useless to put any further effort into it. Once you make a payment, forget about getting a refund. I used around 1,000–1,500 words, and I still have about 28,000 words left in my subscription, which are completely useless. The output sentences are completely distorted and totally change the intended meaning to something new. Furthermore, the content is still flagged as AI-generated by AI detectors, even after using both available versions of Grubby AI—Version 1 and Version 2. Once you rewrite the same content to bypass AI detection, you will lose words from your subscription. Since Version 1 does not produce good output, you will try Version 2, you will to get the same result. In the end, you will finish your available words in a monthly or weekly subscription and be left with nothing but frustration. The Grubby AI service team is entirely uncooperative regarding refunds and does not respond. I would never recommend anyone waste their time and energy on it.

Grubby scored the best when I tried six different humanizer free trials. I just took the outputs from them and fed them to chatgpt and asked them to rate it, and grubby scored the best and it actually had lowest AI score too. Good site

I had a fantastic experience using trustpilot. Super easy to use and understand. I plan on continuing to use this in the future!

Pretty good site but I checked with ZeroGPT and it was 57,45% AI meanwhile Grubby said that it's ok and that ai detectors think that too but ZeroGPT was 1 of them so a little Meh but atleast 42,55% below
