Incompetence compounded by dismissive, disrespectful behaviour and lying
After google ads lost a great deal of our data that had been accumulated over more than a few years, which had an enormous impact on our return on ad spend and sales, we spoke more than a dozen times over months to figure out the issues. Google offered a credit - a small one that was more of gesture but we were ok with that. They never followed through, then changed the person dealing with it more than 3 or 4 times, changed their mind, never solved the problem, never got our data back, refused the refund and starting trying to say the data missing was our fault etc. 4+ months later we are still arguing and when we finally went through all the info and proved it was their fault, definitively, they balked and said they had to arrange a call with a senior person that they said would be able to issue the credit, resolve the issue. etc. The person NEVER showed up to the arranged call. NEVER contacted us in anyway. This kind of incompetence, disrespect and dismissive behaviour is why we will terminate using Google Ads and only use Meta going forwards. This is beyond shocking and shows how Google clearly could not care less about their customers.
