Funky Food

I have recently received my first medium sized box from Funky Food. Overall I am really happy with the amount of fruit and veg I got, as well as the variety. All items were fresh and great quality (despite being considered non-acceptable to large supermarkets). It was the perfect amount for my husband and I, toddler and baby who had just started eating solids.

Fantastic customer service, super fast communication, great product

Thanks for delivering fresh food to my door even after the recent cyclone, rain and flooding. We have found ordering our selection of items via the funky food online store the best for us. This means that based on what is in season and what we eat we can go into the store and order from the selection. We mostly order our base staple veggies, salad items and some fruit. We still like to self select fresh fruit ourselves elsewhere, but often get great melons, passionfruit and grapes and other seasonal fruit in our box. It is convenient and fresh easy to pause or cancel if needed and communication has always been prompt and professional. Thanks

I loved the concept and wanted to support a small business however the amount of produce supplied for $73.90 is definitely not enough to feed a family of four for 5 days, little own a week. I also priced out out exact order at Woolworths and it would have cost $75.60 however a lot of the stuff in the box we wouldn’t have bought and we still needed extra items so it works out more expensive. They claim the box we received equivalent was $101 at the super market - not sure what supermarket that is but absolutely not ours. Very sad considering they buy seconds from farmers that there is no discount passed on to the customer. I will say the veggies were good quality, the fruit was very small and very, very average.

Loved our first box! I was so surprised at how much produce we received for the price we paid. Everything was fresh and will last us the week. Delivery was really easy too as they kept us updated on the time we would receive it.

I am loving our weekly Funky Food Box. It’s really good value, and encourages us to cook seasonally. I also like that I can request a few different items to opt out of. I also feel good that I am contributing to the environment with less food wastage and plastic packaging.

I received my first order last week & it was awesome, bought back memories of fresh fruit & vegetables growing up. I'd forgotten the crispiness, firm and no wilting herbs & onions with mushy black bits. The taste of freshness you can't beat (unless you grow your own) also the potatoes tasted so yummy as all the produce. We have increased our fruit & veggies intake. It is sustainable, helping the farmers. Great with affordable costs & heaps more produce then supermarket for same price. Can't wait for my next order, I definitely recommend Funky Food

Funky Food provides me with the best fruit and vegetables. Happy to knowing I am directly supporting farmers too. The fruit and vegetables last longer and are more delicious than anything I could find at the shops. The value for money is epic. The entire company, from customer service, buyers, packers, the drivers are 100% fantastic. Their combined efforts to look after me and deliver prior to cyclone Alfred was incredible. Highly recommend to everyone!
