The worst programme to sign up for…

The worst programme to sign up for .they never mentioned at the time of sign up that it can't be cancelled before one whole year even if you are homeless or hungry after the inflammation and cost of living crisis.they have made 3jfinance to harass and torture me daily for paying the programme even after cancelled 4 months ago.they say they have no link with 3jfinance but we have given them your details to bother you daily .worst example of greed and lies.

We finished paying Exemplar after 4…

We finished paying Exemplar after 4 years. However, the children only used it for few months. They did not enjoyed it but yet we were made to pay for the service that never been used. It is not helpful to family. They don't care if you go through financial difficulties. Their policies are very bad and deceitful to many parents. They don't make it clear verbally that if you don't cancel before 14 days, you'll end up paying for 4 or 5years. I was also deceived that it does provide training for 11+. Please do not sign for Examplar. Just avoid it or you'll end up paying for a long time even when the children stop using the programme. Very sad!

    This is totally a nightmare

This is totally a nightmare. We have been paying for 5 years and my children just never use the program. They only tried for a few weeks and they just stop using it as they are bored with the program and with the outdated video. We are now going to ask our bank for refund as we feel like we been scam. We didn't know that we have to pay for 5 years and we are tied up

Do NOT join whatever you do!!!

Do NOT join whatever you do!!!! This is a costly scam. I naively joined under the influence of a con sales representative, whi didn't mension they would apply for a loan under my husbands name. The whole platform is ancient (imagine 1990's), with out dated, boring videos. Made even worse, by the lesson which are not age appropriate, long worded for no reason and do nothing to build confidence in your child. Called to cancel shortly after joining and thats when they hit you with the truth, you are trapped, as they have pocketed a loan (worth thousands) taken in your name. Not wanting to ruin our financial credit, we tortured the kids and ourselves into excruciating hours of trying to work our way through it, eventually giving up few months in. We emailed them stating, we no longer wished to continue once the agreement was up along with how they could improve. Our contracted finally ended, thinking this would be the end of it and relieved. But our nightmare was not to end there, they have re-enrolled us without permission and starting taking Direct Debits out of our account. I have send several emails which they seem to ignoring. We are infuriated to say the least and have been in contact with our bank to find out how they have set up a DD without our approval and ofcourse to get our money back from these theifs. We are now contacting the Ombudsman and taking legal action. Be WARNED!!!! Stay well clear and tell others, you could save the thousands of ££££

“I cannot reply to a review in trust…

“I cannot reply to a review in trust pilot” Exemplar education please can you provide me with evidence of pupils fantastic achievements? I can only solely express that your contract terms are not explained fully when your assessor is assessing in people’s homes. You took a 5 year finance agreement out in my name which is fine according the financial conduct of authority. However you give a 14 day cooling off period on a product that doesn’t indulge after 6 weeks. I have rang numerous times, as the American system is systematically too high level for my son. To be told “that’s the lowest level it goes?” To this day I am pretty sure when your self assessor entered my home her extract words were: “ your son qualifies for the system level” yet he has never entered an American style level that he can complete. To this day I still pay £46 per month and you have tied me to another two years so a system that never worked regardless of the number you provided me with to access help which never worked either. You need to understand mu frustration and everyone else who are given you a bad review! I have also rang your company to sign up and their answer was we only do 3 months contact now not 5 years? (Is there an explanation) Why is this? If your system was so reliable then why are you changing your finance lengths? Why are so many parents (who clearly can’t afford) paying for something this clearly isn’t working. Therefore consumer rights will come into this for miss sold products?

My experience with exemplar is really bad.

My experience with exemplar is really bad.SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. This is just a total rip off. Please don't make the same mistake as me. It did not help my children and is just a waste of money. Really I would rate it a zero all the way to the moon. I mean,It costs about 6 grand for 5 years and it doesn't even help. The contract cannot be cancelled . So I can't really do anything about it.

    Totally unacceptable

Very bad company. They go by the name estia tuition aswell. After some searching on company house details and checking addresses I found it to be the same company. Total scam. Misled info, course not suitable anyway. did not realise I was signing for a 12 month contract. I specifically asked them how long we would need to use it and they said as long as we wanted which was a lie and now I'm bound to contract. I have been seeking advice from CAB to try and get this contract cancelled. This company asked me to set up a video call with my autistic daughter for her to explain to them why the course is not suitable before they can make a decision! Asking a minor with mental health issues to influence a decision on whether a contract should be cancelled is totally unacceptable. My daughter got very upset and anxious and felt pressured like she has done something wrong. I will keep fighting this and update my review at a later date. My advice is do not use at all costs!

Exemplar Exploit Parents Desire For Their Child To Achieve

If you want an educational platform for one size fits all, use out of date software, a cheap laptop, diabolical customer service that place all your queries in a ‘you have done it / got it wrong pile’ never assisting in a polite engaging manner then go ahead spend your well earned money lining the pockets of people who have no morals both personally or professionally. We signed up, we were sold a very good package both on paper and by their representative, painstakingly went through many points and constantly reassured. After the 14 day cooling off period the wheels started to come loose on the wagon. Aggressive customer service staff, applications that failed to enhance our child’s education as it failed to record or update to their current learning levels. Technical support extremely poor and equipment sub standard. Threats when queried cancelling our contract even when no service was being provided due to the platform being sub standard. We suffered at the hand of this company for 4 years, we used 6 months of the shoddy service and lost over £4500. Exemplar will keep typing they have many happy customers, go ahead believe them at your own peril, they do not care about your children's academic abilities they are only interested in creating money for themselves. Just remember if something sounds to good to be true, trust your instinct it most certainly is where Exemplar is involved. We sought assistance from a tutor, personal 1:1 weekly session, support when needed, £12 a week and our children have thrived. Please learn from our misfortune, let our lost thousands of £’s deter you and help you find a better solution that truly benefits your child / children. **AVOID EXEMPLAR - 100% FALSE**

GET YOUR MONEY BACK! IN ATTENTION OF PARENTS!

IN ATTENTION OF PARENTS! You can get your money back very easily: call your bank, and ask for money back thru Consumer Rights Act 2015. No matter what is your situation with the payments, the bank will refund you and stop the direct debits. Call now your bank, and show as evidence screen shots from the application and also the reviews on trust pilot! Good luck and share the news!

    Wish we never bought this

The ridiculous programme ever. The material is really outdated in the questions, sometimes if we write the correct answers the system marks them as wrong. I tried cancelling the contract and they didn't. It was a 15-month contract and was over and I wanted to the cancel. The staff was very rude and didn't want to cancel. BIGGEST SCAM EVER! Next thing you know, they are going to be replying to this review saying "We are not scammers, we achieve good results every day etc etc".

I bought the service particularly to…to teach my child how to read and to help him quickly be on par with his peers that were 2 years ahead.

I bought the service particularly to help bridge the education gap when move countries and helping my son to catch up on 2 years of reading. I was very impressed with the video tutorials and pack that was sent to help support the videos - Jayden was reading in under 3 months and continues to impress me with how quickly he is moving up in reading levels at school.

This company should be shut down

This company should be shut down. They only answer the phone to new customers so you can't complain. The material is outdated. As a headteacher, I can honestly say they should be ashamed of the quality of education they are providing. Save yourself!!!!!!!

Please never sign up for this stupid program, I’m taking this on with the school that recommended this program to us, these people pester you until you sign up to their program. We sat down the idiotic sales man who assured us severally that we were able to cancel at anytime but I’m just realising that what they do it take a loan using your name, it’s nothing to do with the cheap program but everything to do with taking advantage of vulnerable families. It’s truly a shame but with all these complaints, this company will be dealt with sooner than expected, same with 3j finance, all scams of company!

    Beware!!!!!!

This company are happy to call you nearly everyday in the cooling off period after that you will never hear from them again. My children were quite bored with the website quite outdated if I’m to be honest. They didn’t log in for quite a while, no phone call or email to check if everything is ok. I decided to cancel I wrote an email and stated my issues and the reply I got back didn’t address any of those issues they were more concerned about the remaining money they would need to take. I replied again to say I don’t have an issue with the remaining money, I stated points in my email and you haven’t even addressed them. Never heard from them again. Really bad!

    Do not use

Do not use, fraudulent. They push you into signing up and when you try to leave they will keep adding a charge and call asking for their money. My severance bill was £300 ish and we called a few months later to settle it was £700! They said they had to close it first before they stop charging yet they did not call about missed payments, and we did call and cancel. Avoid. Also children will struggle to use the service unless you are with them, so might as well find an in person tutor. PS. They work with 3j finance
