I was recommended to use this company. I am having a small 'In My Garden Party' to raise funds for the patients at my local Hospice. I spent hours trying to find suitable cover before I was recommended to this Company. I can only say the staff were beyond excellent. They were so very patient with an elderly luddite. All my concerns were satisfied. I would especially like to thank and praise Ann Marie and Paul. Without them I'm sure I would still be going round in circles.
I have been working with Event Insurance for a few months taking out policies for performers I employ for one-off events. All was going well until today when I called and they told me I could not do this. That the performer had to deal directly with them. This may well be the case but why then had previous people I'd spoken to at their company (namely Rhys Windsor, Sarah Perkins and Kay Choudhury) all allowed me to go ahead with taking out the insurance and paying for it myself? Met with a 'computer says no' employee today I asked to speak to the manager Michael who said he would need to look at all the paperwork from my previous dealings in order to work out what had happened and he implied that I must have done something wrong, either previously or today to have somehow secured insurance! I asked for an apology but all I got was 'I'm sorry if there has been some confusion'. No confusion at my end - just a returning customer being treated poorly. Sadly I don't think they are going to refund me any of the money I've paid them for all the policies they now say I shouldn't have been able to secure! :) (ps. Michael, please don't reply to this saying that you repeat that you are sorry that there has been a misunderstanding! ). LESSON = DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!
Contracted Covid ( yes it’s still here 2024) not fit to do bike race , and guess what no Covid cover . Ins is just not fit for purpose even if I could get a certificated test these days it would cost more than the entry for the event . It’s just your every day insurance scam not worth the paper it’s wrote on : just save your self the agony and do not buy in : Rubbish

Even at three score years and nine, insurance remains an absolute mystery to me! That is why I was so grateful to Event Insurance's Amy Wrigley, who simplified the whole process of me taking out an Event Cancellation Insurance Policy for a Reunion of former school pupils, each of whom will, next year, hit the Big 70 - aargh! Her clarification of the jargon, along with her explanation of the various options - each presented with courtesy and a sense of humour - made the process both smooth and painless. In the nicest possible way, I hope not to speak to her again, as I am confident the event will go off without a hitch. Very many thanks. B. Joyce Johnson
