I have been working with Event…

I have been working with Event Insurance for a few months taking out policies for performers I employ for one-off events. All was going well until today when I called and they told me I could not do this. That the performer had to deal directly with them. This may well be the case but why then had previous people I'd spoken to at their company (namely Rhys Windsor, Sarah Perkins and Kay Choudhury) all allowed me to go ahead with taking out the insurance and paying for it myself? Met with a 'computer says no' employee today I asked to speak to the manager Michael who said he would need to look at all the paperwork from my previous dealings in order to work out what had happened and he implied that I must have done something wrong, either previously or today to have somehow secured insurance! I asked for an apology but all I got was 'I'm sorry if there has been some confusion'. No confusion at my end - just a returning customer being treated poorly. Sadly I don't think they are going to refund me any of the money I've paid them for all the policies they now say I shouldn't have been able to secure! :) (ps. Michael, please don't reply to this saying that you repeat that you are sorry that there has been a misunderstanding! ). LESSON = DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!
