Ecommerce Templates Will hold your site hostage for the smallest of questions. Their MOTO is basically pay us to get a yes or no answer. Developers will not answer questions and leave it blank for months at a time and Ecommerce Templaes knows about it and does nothing. First if you want a simple question answered, they refuse to answer it. They say oh you have to pay us $70 just to get a response in the forum. You say something, they have their jackles gang up on you and purposely contradict everything you say. There's no way of getting any type of support unless you folk over $70. Then when you do, they give you a BS answer, saying oh that's complicated, oh we're doing it in a next revision (which takes them years), or hire a developer. Then when you ask one of their 2 developers a question, it gets unanswered for months on end, leaving you stranded and held hostage by them. You go to complain what they do, they delete your account and all your posts because they don't want to be found out on what they do. They remove modules from every single update because they are too lazy to put the fixes into it. You cant take credit card orders that you want to process manual anymore because they refuse to pay for PCI. So what they do, they hand if off to one their developers that if you want that simple module, you have to folk over just as much money as you paid for this worthless program. If you paid thousands for a version for customization, and you upgrade kiss that money good buy and you have to start over. Their moron response is that if you want the code back go through every single file every single line of code and do a cut and paste, with no guarantee that it would work. Are you a programmer? no your a seller. So once again another idiotic solution offered by these people that their only direction is to suck as much money out of you for their worthless outdated software. In all honesty, stay away from this nickle and dime company. Go with WooCommerce, they are 1000x bigger than these fools and have hundreds of developers to help you immediately vs only 2 Ecommerce Templates have and both are not in the United States. The biggest mistake we made was putting up with ETC.

First they admit that YEAH YOU DO HAVE TO PAY for their crappy support. 2nd your developers are non existant. 3rd you refuse to reply and answer questions from PAID customers who have your software. You hold everyone hostage. When you pay because you have no choice they give you one word answers. The fact that we've been held hostage for years because of you and have not been able to do anything with our website because of you and your developers is the reason why we're leaving permently. Your vultures gang up on other sellers and importantly, you purposely delete all evidence when someone posts a negative review about you cons!
REPLY TO THE REPLY. Lets add liars to the review of Ecommerce Templates. Oh its a complete lie, because they deleted every single post from their support forum regarding everything we said. So lets add deceptive business practices to the list. The fact that you refuse to answer questions unless people pay for for it is a joke! You purposely deleted every single forum post to cover up your lies! In addition, not only are we saying it, others have said the same thing. You go on and on and spread lies because you just want people to buy your low grade software, lead them into a false sense of security, then become trapped!
If non of this was true then we'd have no reason to leave this negative review. The fact that we had enough of being held hostage from your company, refusing to answer yes and no response, the fact that you purposely deleted posts to cover up any accusations (and you know you did!) it just proof of how shady of a company you are. You'll do anything to have the truth removed from a site.
