When I applied for this I wasn’t sure I…
When I applied for this I wasn’t sure I would get it but once accepted the company came out and we’re highly professional throughout the process and due to the boiler being so old it took a lot of work. The boiler provided was a high standard and was delighted with the final product. I’d recommend anyone to apply for the grant!

Solar panel installation
We contacted eco energy ltd, Glasgow about the possibility of solar panels using the HES Scotland scheme. The quote was reasonable and accepted but the help using the HES Scotland scheme was invaluable. They had good knowledge of this scheme and were happy to guide us through our application. The work was done diligently by the panel fitters and followed up smartly with the electirician to wire up the panels and batteries. All in all a good job for which we are now reaping up the benefit of money back from our utility provider by taking advantage of the feedback tarriff facility. Our system was fully operational until an inexperienced Scottish Gas engineer fitted a smart meter incorrectly inteferring with the installed system. Happily, with all credit to Eco Energy they sent an Engineer down promptly to rectify the problem which they did not need to do.
