Everything about the service we received from Elwood Deere in letting our property has been first class. Jemma has been thoroughly professional in her approach. The property was let quickly. Tenants were carefully checked. Maintenance issues dealt with immediately and without any pressure to use preferred contractors, although an offer was always made. Reports of visits to check the property were always clear and helpful. Responses to queries by email or phone were dealt with promptly. Service was both courteous and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Even during Covid lockdowns, when understandably there were restrictions on what could be done, Deere were able to answer queries and reassure us that all was in hand. We have now sold the property - through the same agents (and again the service was excellent) - but we have no hesitation in recommending them. Anyone who wants to let a property in or around Porthcawl should use this agent. Thanks Jemma and thanks to all at Elwood Deere for all you've done.

They have been chasing up solicitors for us and keeping everything on track, as well as getting us a good price and helping us find a new property. Generally Poor service selling our house and wouldn’t recommend. We will be going to Prestons next time! 1. They absolutely appeared more interested in looking after the purchasers rather than seller. 2. They incorrectly advised us at one stage which could have cost us a lot of money. 3. Communication after the initial sold subject to contract was non existent until they tried to claim that they had arranged a moving date, not knowing that it was us via our solicitor who had arranged the date. Overall Poor and not recommended.

Started off all good using Elwood Deere, and then after a change of staff member dealing with us it all changed. Poor communication, wrong information shared and worked more for the vendor than the purchasers. Sadly we lost the house, and when we sent a email for exclamation we had no reply. We have purchased a few houses the last few years so disappointed with the outcome.
