We were forced to use DC Law for the conveyancing on my deceased Mother-in-Law's property by Co-op Legal Services (who are equally appalling) and have had no progress in the 2 months since being engaged for this task. Co-op Legal have chased for updates on progress and we finally found out last week that the Buyer's Solicitors had sent initial enquiries to them on 4th December but this has not been looked at yet. I finally heard from Co-op yesterday to advise that Rebecca at DC Law would pick this up "ASAP" but gave not further details or information. If this is a measure of how DC Law work this transaction, cash sale with no chain, could take years. Totally unacceptable behaviour. Response to DC Law - I provided all the information requested 4 days ago but have still not had any feedback from you ? Can't say I'm surprised to be honest......

Cheryl and the ladies were superb, dealing with all enquires, promptly, answering any and all questions ASAP , and very good communication between them and myself. I cannot thank them enough for the work they did and time spent sorting out any issues from others involved in the sale.

Rachel Samosa my case handler was so supportive explaining thing I didn't understand clearly in lay terms. She was always willing to help and facilitated better communicationd with the selling agent who seemed to drag thier feet and not reply to me. The house was being sold due to a tramatic bereavement and without Rachel always being at the end of the phone and Dc Law's excellent online system I'd have struggled far more than I did. Thank you.

This was for a sale of a house and took place over the period June 2024- December 2024. I found the process, even though most of the document transactions took place online, to be fairly straight forward to access and complete. Some documents only required to be read and acknowledged. Information was sent to my e-mail account when a document needed attention and it could be printed off, signed, and then returned by post. My communications with the dedicated officer for my case were very professional and they provided me with an excellent service. I would use DC Law again in the future.

Fantastic service from DC Law. Despite a very long process, which no fault of DC Law, the sellers solicitors were incompetent. Dom Souther our case handler was always very understanding and communicated with me throughout the whole process. Thank you for making a stressful time slightly more bearable. Would definitely recommend.

I put my house on the market in May 2024 & completion took place in November 2024. Completion on the house that I purchased was on 16th December. Due to my circumstances, there was a lull between buying & selling. Mark Higginson was my conveyancer and I found him to be extremely helpful, polite and approachable. He fully explained the whole procedure in simple English, which reassured me and helped to reduce some of the inevitable stress of house buying & selling. Conveyancer Suhndas Nazir was fantastic from start to finish, during the sale of my property. The customer service at DC Law is excellent, and the online portal (eWay) made the whole process seamless, with only a couple of key documents required to be signed hard copy and sent in the post (Sale Contract and TR1). Suhndas was efficient, clearly provided explanations when required, and was available by email and telephone when I needed her to be. Suhndas is a credit to DC Law, who have made conveyancing purchases/sales easier to navigate with their fantastic IT solution.

We used DC Law and had Harry Cotton as our conveyancer. Harry far exceeded my expectations that I had based on my first purchase, where my previous conveyancers were infrequently updating me, slow to respond etc. Harry and DC Law have been completely different. Harry was on the ball, if I rang the phone he’d pick up. If I had a question, he’d have the answer. He made sure to frequently give me and my partner updates. Very helpful and couldn’t recommend enough.

Hayley Geall was exceptional! She was efficient, professional, available with excellent attention to detail. We moved in less than 7 weeks and just in time for Christmas in our new home! Highly recommend Hayley for conveyancing. Thank you so much Hayley!

This is a true account in brief of our experience using SC Law Southport. I amazed as to why there are good reviews here?. Using an online conveyor when moving house I certainly wouldn’t recommend, 1. You are expected to download fairly large legal documents, some of which have to be printed signed and returned preferably by email, ok if you can scan so you can mail them back, I did request they sent documents by post but that only happened once 2. Communication, phone calls rarely returned, same with emails 3. A lost document just before exchange of contacts, using an excuse, we hadn’t sent it, although it reappeared two days later. 4. The final straw our move in day didn’t happen, and had to find a hotel for the night, but our buyers were able to move in to our old house, we were cash buyers, which begs the question who was sitting on our money Although I can’t point my finger to DC Law for this lack of customer care my other experience go a long way in doing so. Use a conveyancer who you can meet face to face This my personal opinion of this company, and you should make your own decision
