I have been trying to sort my problem…

I have been trying to sort my problem for 2 weeks with no luck. I spoke to lovely lady today called Jo. She was the most helpful person i have spoken to so far, and although she could not resolve my problem she has done everything possible to get the persons that can deal with my problem to do so. So i rate Jo at 5 stars for her help, patience and commitment to helping me as a customer.

Used consultive to switch energy…

Used consultive to switch energy supplier and saved on my current contract rates. Both Graeme Marrs and Craig Portsmouth were very helpful and the switch is seamless and easy.

Really easy to work with

Would 100% recommend this company

Would 100% recommend this company - such a friendly approachable team - they have been amazing every step of the way with my business utility needs, from finding me the best deals, to supporting me with any issues that arise (like my energy company incorrectly billing me and causing huge problems!) In all my years in business when dealing with utility companies have I ever had such a brilliant experience where for once, I genuinely do trust the person and company that I am getting our electricity contract from. Callum at Consultiv Utilities is like a breath of fresh air and has been nothing less than miraculous in helping us find not just the best option but also the right solution for us. He has gone the extra mile on numerous occasions and as such, I would recommend him and Consultiv to anyone and everyone should they need to speak to and be dealt with by an honest energy broker who knows how to treat people well

I would like to say a huge thank you to…

I would like to say a huge thank you to Phil and Sam. Phil and Sam have helped me massively with our electric and gas utilities. We now have much better tariffs and we are paying alot less. They are both very friendly , approachable and on the ball, both really great guys. The transition has been wonderful and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you so much for all your time and effort.

A charity in need of professional assistance

we as a charity were having major issues with readings. we had an extortionate invoice which we queeried and and got pushed from pillar to post with out your help we would still be arguing and getting no where. it has now been resolved and a credit issued. this would never of happened with out your involvement our thanks go to Johnny and to sam for all of their endeavours which are highly appreciated, customer service 20 out of 10

Aidan Angus was a real pleasure to deal with. Helped explain the comparisons and helped us get a good deal. Very helpful and friendly. No pushy sales tactics used was very patient if I was too busy to talk would accept that (unlike other companies) and came back at a convenient time

A litigious company best avoided …

I am the owner of a micro business who has been sued by Consultiv Utilities for breach of contract for an electricity supply contract that failed to go live. Their salesman 'Nathan' contacted me a full eleven months before the expiry of my existing contract. When I pointed out that it was too soon, he made the usual claim that 'now is the best time to secure a good deal' and Act Now! In fact the renewal deals he offered were disappointing, specifically with a very high daily standing charge. When I queried this, I was told that they're all like that, that's as good as it gets. He continued to ring me over the following few weeks each time offering slightly better rates, and always very friendly, using my first name and the usual 'how are you today?' sales patter. At the time my existing contract had been brokered by CU, so I trusted them to find me the best deal, and eventually agreed to accept the contract they'd secured for me. So with a sigh of relief I forgot about the matter. Some months later I was contacted by Bionic Ltd, another brokerage I've used in previous years. I explained that they were too late. Ah, no problem, I was told. You can only have one supplier, and whichever deal goes through first is the one you'll have, it might be ours or it might be theirs. And Bionics offer was considerably better - a daily standing charge that was £0.20p less, and an electric unit cost £01.53p lower. All this with one phone call, no constant pestering as with CU. I hope this review will alert others not to break a contract with this litigious company, who emailed me 2 months after the event, aggressively demanding £750 + VAT. CU's declared lost commission on the deal was £550, but £750 is the flat 'per meter' fee. Having taken legal advice, I decided to pay up or risk escalation and even more expense. However, if this happens to you, I suggest kick the can down the road, then plead poverty and negotiate. I finally paid them £500 + VAT. An expensive lesson learned the hard way; I find it strange that CU have secured such a high star rating on this site, and would certainly question the provenance of these glowing reviews. If I could have left a no-star review I would have, and I look forward to reading their response to this review. They always have an answer don't they?

Excellent service

We used Consultiv to arrange our energy contracts for our charity. Craig O'Neill and Jon Malcolm have been exceptionally helpful, patient and understanding and they respond quickly to all emails as if we are their biggest client. They made switching suppliers incredibly easy and achieved us a saving as a result.

Great company

Nathan Huston & Dave Palmer were both very helpful in sorting out our new contract and making sure we were happy with everything. They managed to get us a good deal and helped with any questions we had. The whole process was easy and they were polite/friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend.
