Unfortunately, this was not a good experience for me. In spite of the staff being nice, I took the intensive course to further my French, expecting conversational and practical in the lessons. I even called the school to clarify but that’s not what I got when I arrived. I was then told 3 days in that the course was actually focused more on furthering me for higher education through “writing” and that I should talk to my teacher, who wasn’t about to change the curriculum for me when she has an entire classroom of other students. Many of them were also disillusioned with what they were experiencing. I was told i’m one of the administrators that this was “probably not the school for me.“ Not to mention the money but I spent on an apartment and the cost of living to go to a school that couldn’t meet my needs of becoming more fluent in the language. I was told a refund would not be possible after 2 days of school in a 5 week course. Keep in mind, this is an independent facility and NOT actually part of the Sorbonne University. They only piggy back off the name. Buyer beware.

Ça serait mieux si on pourrait recevoir plus de détails avant le jour d'examen, par exemple, à quelle heure d'arriver, s'il y aurait des feuilles pour faire un brouillon ou pas... Pendant l'examen (23 juin) il faisait très chaud mais avec les fenêtres ouvertes il y avait également trop de bruit de la rue...c'était difficile de se concentrer, c'était dommage.

Un enseignant n'était pas professionnel et parlait trop vite pour comprendre.
