Avoid Brick & Bolt if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. My home construction experience with Brick & Bolt was disappointing from start to finish. The sales team made commitments that were not met during execution. The design team changed multiple times, the drawings lacked practicality, and the final contract did not include some of the requirements that had been discussed. During construction, I encountered crooked walls, staircase execution issues, layout changes without my approval, setback violations that resulted in penalties, product substitutions without my consent, poor workmanship, and repeated rework. Although I made all payments on time, material deliveries were often delayed and the committed timelines were repeatedly missed. I also felt pressured to approve additional spending during the project. Communication was one of the biggest challenges. Questions that required clear explanations often went unanswered, and I had to repeatedly follow up through calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails just to receive updates or action. The mobile app frequently did not reflect the actual site progress, and support interactions often focused on closing tickets rather than resolving the underlying issues. Coordination between the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, contractor, and support team was inconsistent throughout the project. The most disappointing part was what happened after the promised handover date. Even three months later, the contractor stopped coming to the site. During the final settlement meeting, Brick & Bolt informed me that they were unable to get the contractor or workers to return and complete the remaining work. As a result, I had to settle the project and take possession of an incomplete house so I could arrange for the remaining work myself. Building a home is one of the biggest financial investments a family makes. Based on my experience with Project CRN504142, I faced issues related to planning, execution, quality control, communication, contractor management, and customer support. I cannot recommend Brick & Bolt based on my experience. I hope this review helps other homebuyers make an informed decision before choosing a construction partner.

I am disappointed with my experience regarding the NDT testing service. The company collected the payment in advance but has not processed the promised refund despite repeated follow-ups. The lack of transparency and timely communication has been frustrating. I recommend that the company review and improve its refund policies, establish clear timelines for processing refunds, and provide customers with regular updates on the status of their requests. Promptly honoring refund commitments is essential for maintaining customer trust and demonstrating professionalism. I paid ₹1,50,000 in the name of booking amount and soil testing charges. Despite repeated follow-ups and requests, the amount has not been refunded. The communication has been poor, and I have not received any satisfactory explanation regarding the delay. Before making any payment, I strongly advise others to get all refund terms and conditions in writing and verify every commitment carefully. My experience has been frustrating and stressful due to the lack of transparency and accountability. I hope the company resolves this matter promptly and returns the pending amount. Customer service and trust are critical in the real estate industry, and unfortunately, my experience with BNB has fallen far below expectations.

My experience with Brick & Bolt has been extremely disappointing and financially frustrating. I paid a booking amount of ₹1,32,000 to begin the house construction process. However, after multiple delays, negative feedback from people who had previously worked with them, and growing concerns about their process, I decided not to move forward with them. This is where the real problem started. When I requested a refund, their team suddenly claimed that I was liable to pay ₹71,000 instead, stating that the services they had already provided were worth more than the amount I paid. This came as a shock because: • No rate card was ever shared before payment • No invoice or service-wise costing was explained • No transparency on how the booking amount would be used if I chose to offboard Based on independent research and industry standards, the services they claimed to have delivered usually cost roughly: Soil Test: ₹6k–₹10k Digital Survey: ₹6k–₹10k Floor Plan with iterations: ~₹15k Structural drawings with BBS: ~₹15k Door/window schedule & framing: ~₹15k 3D elevation: ~₹15k Even with generous estimates, the total comes to around ₹70k–₹80k, not the ₹2,04,876 they claimed internally. Another major issue was the liaisoning/sanctioning agent introduced by them. The agent allegedly made payments on my behalf without informing me, and then after two months suddenly appeared asking me to reimburse those payments. This was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Additionally: • It took over 1.5 months just to receive the final quotation • The sanctioning quotation later increased significantly beyond the initial discussion • The architect never visited the site, which was surprising for a project of this scale Despite all this, Brick & Bolt refused to refund even a single rupee from the ₹1.32 lakh booking amount. Overall, the process lacked transparency, communication, and accountability. My advice to anyone considering them: Please do thorough research before engaging with Brick & Bolt. Understand clearly how your booking amount will be used and refunded before making any payment. Unfortunately, in my case, this experience resulted in significant loss of both time and money.

Services were not up the mark, especially with the Architects at Chennai office. Hence at the design and planning stage itself we wanted to end the contract. But we are still waiting for a refund of more than a Rs.1L for more than a year.
