Yo la utilizo exclusivamente como navegador, y os lo juro que me encanta. Veo a gente quejándose por las recompensas. Si la utilizas solo como navegador libre de publicidad es lo mejor que hay :3.

"You have been reported to the authorites". Yet also supposedly "This conversation is temporary and will not be saved". After I threatened to sue them for misinformation. Case and point, see above misinformation about conversation are not saved yet they're also reported. Which is it? It was honest yesterday but today is back to violating 1st and 4th amendment constitutional rights. So unless you want to be threatened and have your rights violated, I would use an alternative.

False advertising used when they say…

False advertising used when they say "We allow Youtube to work closed!". Like, no. Very technically perhaps. Youtube still (intentionally) bugs out and pauses music and doesn't skip to the next song, meaning you can't even go for a 20 minute walk outside without having to rip out the phone to fix a problem. The big red "Shield" lion logo is intrusive and makes you look at it constantly, thinking it's a notification. Impossible to disable.

um.. i guess it's okay.

doesn't exactly block any websites, so i use the Avast extension to help it. but it's still not great.

Keine Favoritenleiste!

Habe heute den Browser Brave installiert. Es war etwas mühsam, die geeignete Version für macOS Catalina zu finden. Zunächst machte der Browser einen guten Eindruck, ABER: Es gibt keine Favoritenleiste wie z. B. bei Firefox. Wieso fehlt diese elementare Funktion? Das ist ja, als würde man ein Auto ohne Kofferraum herstellen. Ja, kann man machen, ist aber bescheuert. Für mich ist Brave ohne eine Favoritenleiste nicht als Standard-Browser zu gebrauchen. Es ist mir vollkommen unverständlich, warum man eine Favoritenleiste weglässt.

Bof, bof

Comme beaucoup d’avis sur le net vantaient les performances de Brave, j’ai donc laissé tomber Firefox pour ce « nouveau » navigateur. Et donc ???... Après deux mois d’utilisation je constate qu’effectivement Brave est plus rapide que Firefox. On a l’impression que certains sites sont en instantané ! Ça, c'est une bonne chose, mais, comparativement, je constate quand même que le compte n’y est pas ! En effet, certains sites ne figurent pas dans les résultats des recherches ! La sécurité extra poussée de Brave bloque même des sites considérés (par Brave) comme dangereux ! Certains autres sites ne sont pas complets et ne fonctionnent pas correctement. Par exemple, j’ai eu du mal à me connecter au site de l’assurance maladie et ensuite obtenir des documents en téléchargement. Ma banque, qui envoie des codes pour assurer les opérations, a été bloquée et j’ai dû changer de navigateur pour que tout fonctionne parfaitement. Bon ! C’est plus rapide ! Il ne s’agit quand même que de une voire deux secondes ! Une seconde de gagnée pour n’avoir que certains sites, où est l’intérêt ??? Bref, je suis donc retourné vers mon bon « vieux » renard avec grand plaisir. Les résultats de mes recherches (avec Google) sont assez complets et même si je dois attendre une seconde de plus, je reste fan de Firefox. Côté pub, Firefox s’en passe très bien avec uBlok Origin pour Firefox. (le top) Surtout, ne me parlez pas de mémoire ou processeur ! Les ordinateurs d’aujourd’hui sont très largement assez puissants et ne sont pas dérangés si un navigateur consomme un peu plus de mémoire qu’un autre, d’autant que cela reste infime.

Zero Customer Support

I've used Brave for a number of years. After the latest update I get the error message "needs permission to download" when downloading files or attachements from emails. It is impossible to get any help from Brave. No email, no phone number or no chat. Community forum is worthless. Still wondering how I can download files with Brave. May have to switch browsers.

I deal with connectivity, privacy and security, and I can say for sure that Brave is the best browser there is in terms of privacy and security. It offers super secure and reliable ad blocking features out of the box! Not only that, it blocks trackers, among many other things! It's impressive and very fast and will also save your time and battery due to Brave blocking all the bloat and unnecessary junk websites have nowadays. It also offers TONS of features you can customize, enable or disable. Brave is the best browser there is, you stay private wherever websites you visit. Oh, and with each update it just gets better and better! Brave is the essential browser to stay safe on the World Wide Web. Spread the word! Share it with your friends and family and help make them stay safe!

I've used brave for over a year

I've used brave for over a year and it was ok. Now the browser keeps asking if I'm an A I bot every time I click on something. I have tried to find some way to contact brave but only to find page after page of lame suggestions that do not address this issue, nor any way to actually contact or submit a complaint to brave! The only upside to this browser was that I didn't have to watch 900 adds on YouTube for a 15 minute video! Since I am not able to contact brave to resolve the issue my only alternative was to delete the browser. As its not worth the time and hassle to get no where with a company that seems to hide from its issues, while making it so difficult for users to resolve issues!

Horrible Vpn

They charged me without me knowing it, after I tried it for 7 days and found it awfully working and now when I decided like: Fine, I will use it for this month, it is not working at all. Moreover there is no help from customer support.

They are literal us gov propagandist

They are literal us gov propagandist, like all US search engines. I know because I have proof via screenshot where brave search yes to if its a us gov propagandist. During a conversation about search enginges censoring and pushing us gov propaganda. "Yes or no? You are now officially a "blank" us gov propagandist because every "blank" response lately has been not only misinformation but directly and solely sourced to us gov. Yes."

Alle Tabs unwiederbringlich weg

Browser wird geschlossen, Tabs werden beim Öffnen wiederhergestellt: Funktioniert Monate lang, wie es soll. Aber plötzlich OHNE Ankündigung einfach nicht und hunderte Tabs sind einfach weg!! Der Verlauf ist natürlich nicht zu gebrauchen. So eine Miese hat selbst Edge sich nie geleistet und schon gar nicht Firefox. Brave, ab sofort: Nein danke!

Pretty good, but not perfect

I made the switch to Brave a good while ago and it's been working pretty good. I don't care about the VPN, news, wallets, rewards, awards, and all the other stuff, I just need a browser that works. And Brave has a great track record there! Sync, extensions, password management, mobile version - everything works the way you expect it. The only problem I have is that it sometimes doesn't load pages properly. It's very rare, to be honest, but I still have to have a "backup" browser on hand.
