Made my order on a Monday, received products on Wednesday—amazingly fast. Got exactly what I ordered and the products are clearly genuine. I saved a lot over MSRP. Company communicated clearly. I could not imagine better service.

I should give it 5 stars since I have no difficulties with the qualities of their products and customer service since the first time (June 2020) I tried this site. I was skeptical as all other customers at my first time to purchase skincare online due to the pandemic. I've been using SK-II for over 2 decades but I bought them in person either in Japan or Hong Kong. Since we can't travel at this time, I think whatever online retail websites could be overloaded. I have learned to be patient with whatever things during the pandemic. I purchased 6 items of SK-II (you can imagine it costs much) in June 2020 without problems with products and checking the manufactured/expiration dates through emails (I know it's a little more work than I bought in Japan/Hong Kong where they have stickers of the dates on the boxes). Last month, I purchased again on this site with 3 SK-II products but couldn't find the discount box in the check out also. Once I had emailed the customer service, they replied to me within 3 business days every time. After emailing back-and-forth a few times for questions and clarification, I received my refund of the discount amount in my Paypal in 2 days. Thank you very much! I am seldom spending time writing reviews, but this company deserves a good one especially after reading those negative reviews. I feel sorry for those customers and this company. I do appreciate the efforts and wish this company and its staff well. I will return to this site when needed.

They are all packaged and seem authentic. If they aren't I would be shocked. Overall, I would definitely order again.
I made the mistake of purchasing La Mer’s Revitalizing Hydrating Sérum and then doing my research. After discovering that they buy from all over the world I had concerns about regulatory standards with the ingredients and the best by dates. About 10 minutes after my purchase I emailed their customer service to cancel my order. They responded with their cancellation policy, which is to not accept order cancellations or adjustments. They informed me that I could begin the return process. It’s inconvenient and seems like a bit of a hassle but their return policy states it on their website. What concerns me is the fact that they have the right to refuse any return they deem unacceptable. I will update my review if/when they accept my return. Moving forward, peace of mind is worth paying full price. *Update* After writing this review they cancelled my order and refunded me, which was greatly appreciated.
I have been waiting for my order since I purchased it on May 16. It says will take 3-5 business and I’ve been checking my mail every single day because I was nervous as I sew they have not good reviews on their website. When I check the tracking number that they provide it said my package arrived on May 20 but I didn’t see anything. I sent them 2 email asking to check it for me because my order is quite a lot of money for me~$143( for college student is a lot ). There’s no any information get back to me, no updates. I’m so patient but now I can say this website is bad costumer service. I should listen to all the reviews our there. I wouldn’t order it again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone, too. I hope at least I will get a refund.
False advertising on 10% discount for FIRST time buying. Online platform has no discount box selection. So you think the discount will apply at check out. No discount applied at check out. Call 3 times in 3 days. Send emails, no reply. What happens if the merchandise are fake ?
I was also unsure whether to buy because I never heard of Akira Beauty and some of the reviews here are poor, but most about customer service not responding. The site looks legit and they have a lot of high end skincare brands at better price, so I can save and get more of the items I use all the time like Sk-ii treatment essence. I'm glad I gave it a try! My order arrived in 5 days and it works and feels the same as the essence I buy everywhere else. Glad I found out about this store and I will order again!
I read the reviews and more than half of them is saying about the customer services are so bad!!! And some are about the product, but I still give a try and I surly agree that they are really true to the review. They never pick up the call, always tell you to leave voice message to call you back but there’s no sh!t.....calling back after 2 day later still waiting. Don’t try to call them, you will hear our office are working from Mon-Fri 9am-5pm specific time, we care unable to get your call right now....!!!!! Trash company service ever seen. Waste of time.
I was suspicious at first, after seeing some bad reviews, but decided to give it a try. Can't beat those prices!! Well, my order arrived in 3 days, everything is legit and I'm really happy! I had a great experience!! I'm not returning anything, so I can't comment on how they handle that, but they definitely earned my business.

I haven't received any shipping updates. Customer service is terrible. I contacted dozens of times. No one contacted me for almost a week. I haven't received my item and my money has been broken. From the account. Don't be fooled. Don't buy !!
I was so upset when I've read the other reviews after I placed an order that I was getting ready to fight and get my money back. Just received my item and I inspected the box+bottle for a good 30 minutes. I was 100% looking for a reason to send it back since I'm not interested in owning and/or using a fake skincare product on my face and I was so turned off by the comments that I didn't want it anymore. First of, if you're used to luxury skin care, it's somewhat easy to feel/see that something is off. I do however, have other products from the same brand including box+packaging and these were the same (same font, same color, same logo embossing, sealed, batch code was accurate, same smell, product texture really seemed normal, definitely a luxury 'unboxing' vibe). The product I've received is all in Japanese but again, wasn't worried since I knew this is how it works. I'm not discrediting people and saying they didn't receive knock-offs since I'm sure Akira isn't able to check each item/shipment they receive especially if they're based in the U.S but ship from HK. I still think there's definitely room for error of them owning bad inventory and I'm not 100% sure I would buy a product I didn't own before from them again or I would want to double check texture/packaging at a department store before using. The only thing I personally found "suspicious" was the fact they were able to account for FedEx Express International Delivery from Hong-Kong to the U.S but I was happy to receive my item within 4 days. I hope people were honest in their comments and aren't trying to return items unless they're 100% convinced/sure they've received a fake product. I think Akira Beauty is good for replenishing. This company being new, I don't think they're equipped to handle 'buyer's remorse' or 'unsuitable skincare product' type of returns yet. Hopefully this review will help you make a decision!
This is an edit to my former review in which I had recommended them without any issues with my first order. Given that it had gone well, I ordered a second a time but there won't be a third time. It's been 2 weeks now and I haven't received my item. The delay isn't even the main problem. As many other reviewers have said, there is a complete disregard for any response to countless customer service emails and receiving calls. This is incredibly unprofessional and they are clearly not reliable. Even if things are cheaper, do yourself a favor and get your items from legit sites or the company website itself.

I would suggest the company actually ship what customers order and also actually have Customer Service that disappointed customers can contact.
I think one star is the highest rating I can give to this merchandise. They are Dishonest Business. If you are trying to buy from them, be careful, they won't tell you that products will be shipped out from Hong Kong beforehand. And once you place the order you can not cancel the order even within one minute. If you ask them why an European or American brand name skincare products will be shipped from Hongkong they will tell you that is where the warehouse is. And they said once you receive the products they can tell you the expiration date and manufacturer location by providing the QR code on the products. Unfortunately these are just their lies. 1. they will never tell you the products expiration date and manufacturer location. 2. products are not authentic products, not authentic brand either. It will come in the package different than it is from retail store. Not authentic products. 3. It is not an easy processing if you try to return the products. It takes time for them to send you return authorization, and you need to pay the shipping for return. 4. Once the products returned they will tell you there is a delay in processing refund. You won't receive the refund anymore. You have to go through dispute transaction to get your money back.

I was skeptical of this site since the other reviews are pretty bad but saw some good reviews so decided to give it a try. First, my purchase came in less than 5 days. I bought 3 aesop products and one clinique product and they all are authentic. I already have 2 of the aesop products and they are exactly the same as AKD beauty. I checked the batch numbers too and the products were manufactured in 2022 which is pretty recent. Lastly, the clinique cleansing balm did come a little dented on the lid but it's not big deal as it didn't impact the actual product. I say this is a legit site and good way to save money on pricey skincare. I saved over 50$ and am happy.
