Access Courses Online Reviews

Joining access courses online and leaving my 8-5 behind to study was the best decision i made in 2024. Due to which i will be starting uni studying my childhood dream of Nursing… i am a step closer to my dream thanks to the amazing team at access courses online. Thank you all. ❤️

I joined in October 2024 after leaving my management job to pursue a career in nursing. Fast forward 9 months… i have an conditional offer at my dream university to study nursing and have passed all my assigments with merit or Distinction. This would not have been possible without the wonderful faculty team at accesscourses online . Someone is always available to help and guide you. All lovely people 🫶 Thank you Dana, Laura, Luke, Kate , Jemma. You all are amazing!!

The tutors Kate and Laura are very helpful and answer questions regarding to anything you may need help with. The units are very detailed and structured well. I recommend this course to anyone trying to get into university or just need a qualification.

I was introduced to the Nursing course few months ago and in retrospective I feel that every assignment and questions were interlinked on this future profession making this ideal since it gives both an opportunity to move forward into a university path while informing and encouraging to carry different formats of work some creative and other more essay like based. Additionally the staff was very respectful and approachable making me feel comfortable to ask questions if there where instances where support was needed. Huge respect and my most sincere blessings to all staff, thanks for the opportunity to chase my dream once again.

I joined the course as a mature student for music production. The support has been great. I have had the chance to have 1 on 1s with my tutor to help make sure I will attain my required grades to get into university and the chat is always open to ask questions.

Course Has been Great !! Special thanks to Luke Evan’s And Laura Watford For assisting me throughout the course and being of assistance of any time I need. If you are trying to get into university or just want to complete a qualification I highly recommend.

I'm class as a mature student, and as a total this Access to HE was a good way to get into university. The tutors provided a good amount of support when asked, however no dyslexia support when asked at beginning of course. The unit and assignment briefs where very structured in what they wanted you to complete - although had issues with the wrong study plan and matching up with what units I needed to complete. I do feel like if you are doing something for Healthcare then it is a broad area of learning, for example I did Midwifery however there wasn't much on Midwifery but rather the NHS/healthcare as a whole. I would recommend doing the Access Courses, even though I did have a couple of issues. It is a good way to get your UCAS points if needed.

I did not expect the course to be so extensive and demanding. The subjects challenged my resourcefulness, and I think they are very relevant to my prospective course in Uni. I found the tutors to be understanding and eager to help with completing assignments as at when due and appropriately. I would recommend this course to anyone wishing to get a good headstart for Uni.

This access course has been a great step towards heading to University. The course is self-paced with the ability to set realistic goals and the online recordings are excellent. It has been useful in learning how to reference and manage your time effectively. The topics are very interesting.

The course covers lots of areas and is updated regularly, the staff are helpful and often respond within a day, if not on the same day. The resources are online for you to look at so you can study at your own pace and do research. :)

Very encouraging environment, tutors are helpful. Course is entirely self-paced and flexible. Course could be better and more clearly structured (eg no timeline given for when units would be assigned, units assigned which do not correspond with study plan given etc).

A great online Access course with supportive and understanding tutors who are responsive over chat if needed. The learning materials are excellent and there is a really good blend of in person classes as well as recorded material which allows you to go at your own pace. Marking of assignments can be a little slow and it seems to get done in bulk so a bit tricky to take on board any feedback to help you to improve your mark if needed for your next assignement but the feedback is thorough and informative. Laura and Jemma have been particularly supportive throughout my time on the course and give realistic advice which is helpful. It enables you to push on with the course if there are any hurdles. Thanks for all of your help so far

They helped me when I thought I couldn’t keep up with the workload and were really easy to talk to

I did an access course through Cambridge online education and I’m so pleased that I did. I was returning to education after a 20 year break and was daunted about how I would cope. My tutor, Martyna was amazing, she helped to build my confidence and get me to realise my potential. I am amazed that I have accomplished so much and feel ready for university. I now have the skills to be able to write essays confidently and don’t feel that I am behind other students. Thank you so much Martyna, I have really appreciated all of your comments, humour and support throughout the course.

Studied Access to HE (Education pathway). I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding support I received from my tutors at Cambridge Online Education that ultimately helped me secure access to university. From the very beginning, the tutors were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in my success. Their personalized approach made complex subjects understandable and engaging. The course was well-structured, providing a perfect balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application. The resources were abundant, and the interactive elements kept me motivated throughout my studies. What truly set this experience apart was the unwavering encouragement I received. I studied whilst working which at times meant I was often away and in different time zones. My tutors were always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and provide valuable feedback, making me feel supported every step of the way. Special thanks to Laura, Martyna and Vicky!) Thanks to their dedication and expertise, I ended up with two unconditional offers! I feel fully prepared and excited for my university journey and wholeheartedly recommend Cambridge Online Education to anyone looking to enhance their learning and achieve their academic goals. Thank you for making such a positive impact on my future!
