Easy to order and super quick delivery 👌

Great result, because I did get exactly what I wanted, but lost one star due to website online ordering which was not straightforward and needed several questions to be clarified by (very good) customer support.

We couldn’t be with our friend for his 50th so I ordered a bottle of red for delivery on his birthday which was a Sunday - be warned, they don’t deliver on a Sunday even if you pay for the guaranteed next day delivery, despite it clearly stating on the receipt that this is what you have paid for. I contacted 23 wine and whiskey and they referred me to their terms and conditions, which I had read at time of purchase but assumed that if I paid extra for the next day service I would get it. To top it all off, the birthday message we included with our purchase wasn’t delivered so our friend didn’t even know who had sent the wine. Very disappointing, next time I’ll get a case of wine from Waitrose for the cost of this shambles.

Fantastic communication - there was a stock discrepancy and they were straight on it, offering me alternatives to suit my tastes. This is what proper service looks like. The delivery was fast too, and the items well-packaged.
