Everything was fine until it was time to cancel. It is an extremely difficult and stressful process to cancel your membership. I filled out a cancellation form, and to my surprise, I was still charged for my monthly payment. I called, and I have never encountered such a rude and disrespectful customer service representative in my entire life. Mind you, my account shows as inactive, but I was told I would keep getting charged because I did not “approve” the cancellation via email—after I had already filled out the cancellation form. Please make it make sense. I never received any confirmation email. Who goes through the rigorous process of completing a cancellation form if they don’t actually want to cancel? Why require an email confirmation that never arrives? This feels like a deceptive scheme designed to keep customers subscribed against their will.
