Poor Experience with Management Company
Unfortunately, our experience with RedAwning fell far short of expectations, especially compared to the pictures they posted on Marriott's Home & Villas platform. The backyard was the only aspect of the property that matched the photos. Upon entering, we were immediately met with a musty odor throughout the house. Cleanliness was a consistent issue: - A used dog or baby bowl was left in the kitchen sink - Floors were dirty, and the placemats in the kitchen were visibly unclean - Walls had significant scratches and marks across the house - One of the bedrooms had a mattress supported by exposed 2x4s which was uncomfortable and unsettling These conditions made the home feel more like a neglected property than a premium rental. Expectation vs. Reality The gap between the online listing and the actual experience was wide enough that we advised friends and family to avoid both this management company and the Marriott Homes & Villas platform altogether. The property lacked the level of care, cleanliness, and comfort we expected based on its price and brand positioning with Marriott.
