Don't fix broken phones

Dear lord what an atrocious company. Bought a phone, charging port broke within one year. I had to pay postage to return it to them, where they did not resolve the issue within the permitted 10 days. They never contacted me or anything. I had to phone them to chase up, at which point they sent the phone back saying nothing was wrong. I videod the obvious issue with the charging port, at which point they finally replaced the phone. Well in excess of the permitted time in their T+Cs for fixing a phone. The second phone had a fault with software, so phone calls were inaudible. I again had to pay to return it to them. This time, they took over three weeks- again breaching their T+Cs for time to assess the fault. Throughout this they never contacted me. I phoned them repeatedly, asking to speak to managers etc, but was roundly ignored. Eventually, after 3 weeks, they said they were issuing a replacement phone to be delivered the following day. A further 10 days later, I still had no phone, and still everyone was refusing to speak to me. Finally, I phoned the company who said they hadn't sent a replacement because my model was now out of stock. Why they just decided to do nothing on finding this out is beyond me. After 4 weeks without a phone, they said they would issue a replacement. An agent handed over to their manager to contact me on 22.4.25. On 23.4.45 I had to phone again. The call handler said the manager had 'gone home early' the previous day, not dealing with my issue! They now promise a phone will be delivered tomorrow, but I doubt this. The situation has been fobbed off to their complaints team as all managers still refusing any and all communication with me. The formal complaint I emailed two weeks ago has been ignored and the complaints team say they have never seen it. It appears to just have been binned. There is no justification for a company who so resolutely ignore consumer rights.

Jake was sympathetic, kind and very helpful

Was phoned just 10 minutes after submitting the online form, even though it was just after 5pm. Spoke with Jake who was really friendly and helpful throughout. He also offered sympathy for what I had been through, as well as just going through all the mandatory things he had to do. Don't know the ultimate outcome yet of whether my case will be accepted, but the initial experience was great.
