JLR Preston Evoque recall N642
My visit was for a recall N642 - I was impressed with the surroundings & service received on the day however a few days after the work had been done my car "check engine" light came on accompanied with a red warning triangle on the dashboard and the car went into limp mode. I phoned JLR advised them of the problem and found them unhelpful/unwilling to help resolve my predicament. My car has done just 19k miles since new. A local garage thinks the problem is the actuator and that is going to cost me in excess of £1k to fix. I cant help thinking that I didn't have any problems before JLR completed the recall work?????
