Absolutely appalling!

So I went down to my local store with a list of items I wanted to buy, they didn't have a single item that I wanted in stock. So I then ordered all of the items (6 items) online. My delivery arrived on the 22/04/25. Two of the items that I'd ordered and paid for were NOT in the parcel. I tracked my parcel and it said all 6 items had been delivered. So I then tried to call Halfords Customer services ,but I was unable to talk to an actual human being as there were no options for the department that I wanted . So I then try their online chat option. I managed to chat to a human, but all that human could do was pass my details and issue over to another department and I was ASSURED that someone would be in touch within 48 hrs. I then tried direct messages via Twitter, I got a response, but literally that was Tuesday, it's now Thursday and they haven't responded. I went back onto the online chat to ask why no one had been in touch and I got no where. I was told they were making my case a priority! Well I still haven't had any response from Halfords about my missing items ( x9 spanner set & a Stanley Tool roll). Surely they can tell by the weight of the parcel that all 6 items were not in there! I've sent them photos of the label etc. I have literally done everything to assist them and they just don't seem to be interested! I can honestly say that Halfords Customer services are the VERY WORST that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I ordered my items from Halfords as they were the cheapest prices, but now I'm regretting it. I wish I'd paid the extra and bought my items from elsewhere, at least I'd have all the items I paid for then!

Ok unless you need to return/replace an item.

I purchased a pair of RST Paragon 6 Heated gloves from Infinity motorcycles as my usual go to bike shop Sportsbike shop hadn't got my size. So the RST Paragon 6 Heated gloves failed in December. I sent them back to Infinity, who then sent them back to RST. I was then told a while later that I could have a replacement or credit ,I asked for a replacement,I was told they would be sent out to me ( 3rd Jan 25). On the 9th Jan I'd heard nothing,so I contacted them, only to be told they were now OOS and discontinued! So how long would it have been before I'd be informed of this if I hadn't got back in touch with them? The gloves were in stock on the 3rd January when I said I wanted a replacement, but apparently they went OOS, so why wasn't this chased up??? The weather is currently freezing and I'd explained how important the heated gloves were to me because of my arthritis & Raynaud's in my hands. If your job is to manage returns then you should manage them effectively and not leave your customers in the land of nowhere and having to chase the returns/replacements themselves. I was unsure using another company at the point of my initial purchase, I should of listened to my gut feeling. I have since ordered new gloves from the Sportsbike shop today and they will be arriving tomorrow. When your hands are freezing cold to the point of pain and tears, hearing a " Sorry love" on the phone doesn't cut it. P.S.. In reply to your reply, you told me those gloves had been DISCONTINUED, so you couldn't get anymore. You never had a short delay in getting some more.....
