I had an RTC
I had an RTC, and the RAC wouldn't cover it under my policy, but explained I could if I paid. I agreed, was put through to the payment line, spent 45 minutes on hold, must've bounced back through to the customer services line, who apologised and put me through to the payment line again, another 35 minutes, no answer, put through to the customer services again to be told 'sorry, we're extremely busy so we aren't taking on any additional jobs at the moment, and our payment system is down, so unfortunately we won't be attending' - despite me having a text message with a driver, with an estimated time, but the agent confirmed they wouldn't pick me up without payment being made, and as they won't take payment, they won't assist me. Pretty awful considering I am on the side of a busy motorway, and I needed assistance. Won't be renewing or using RAC again.
