Excellent service from Callum (1270) and the RAC. Arrived when expected, he provided full explanation of the problem with the car and used his expertise and initiative to fix the problem temporarily so that I could drive the car. He also followed me to the garage in case there were any issues, which made me feel confident and relieved. I am very grateful for his help.

I only waited about 40 mins for help. Mark was able to sort the problem quickly and efficiently while making sure I was safe adjacent to a busy dual carriageway. I had made a comment online that I had a medical appointment at Derriford and I was thrilled to make in time.

"Free MOTβ Offer Feels Like a Scam β No Response from RAC
I bought RACβs breakdown cover because it clearly advertised a βFREE MOTβ as part of the plan. I even saved a screenshot as proof when I signed up. That free MOT offer was the main reason I chose RAC over other providers. But now that I actually need to book the MOT, thereβs no sign of the offer β no voucher, no booking link, no instructions. I contacted RAC via their official enquiry form and received only a reference number (ref: UF152204367) β since then, silence. It's been days with no reply, no follow-up, nothing. It feels like a bait-and-switch. They used the free MOT to attract customers, and now they're ignoring it. I'm very disappointed β it feels like Iβve been misled or even scammed. If you're considering RAC based on the "Free MOT" offer, I strongly suggest you be cautious β they may not deliver what they promise.
