Not as good as they used to be

Issues with transferring in an ISA account from another provider. Funds are shown as ‘Pending’, Skipton confirm they have the funds but cannot deposit them. They blame the original investing Company and the investing Company blame the Skipton. The process commenced 17th June and still no joy. The advice I received from 1 advisor was different today, therefore have lost my confidence in the Skipton. I admit they are friendly and personable but don’t seem to know what they are doing. Sorry Skipton, but you are no where as good as you used to be.

Just returned from Alvaston Hall.

Just returned from Alvaston Hall. Good points - Fantastic entertainment team, especially with their latest recruits, Lilly (Who has a great voice), Martin (Young, full of energy, like the Duracell rabbit). Lynsey and Damien make a great double-act 😂. Missed Dan this time, a great vocalist. Glad to see and hear Amy stood in for Lauren of the Blackjacks. Andy and Woody great musicians and not forgetting Dylan who works extremely hard, but stays out of the limelight. Aom our room cleaner did a great job and friendly also. Fin our waiter was both efficient and personable, great young lad who showed respect. Bad points - simply some of the young staff, for some reason the girls, have a bit of a negative attitude, chatting to other team members and checking their mobile phones. We had to chase one of the girls for cutlery in the Cheshire barn, there was no apology, more of a ‘tut’…but it didn’t spoil it for us.
