I have read many reviews in relation to Masterclass kitchens, all of which I would whole heartedly agree with until you come across a problem.!
We purchased and had fitted our new kitchen around 3 years ago and was delighted with the outcome, the finish, the quality and service we received,
Unfortunately that’s where it ends !!!!
A couple of weeks ago we had a leak from the rear of the intergrated washing machine, this caused damage to the plinth a side panel and post, no fault of ours or Masterclass, however this now needs replacing.
On contacting Masterclass they were nothing short of unhelpful , they informed us they no longer manufacture one of the products, and therefore we would need to arrange a joiner to make one to fit, which came as a suprise as clearly they state on their website they are the manufacturers and that products are guaranteed for up to 3+years, clearly not correct if they have discontinued suppling these items. They have however sent us drawings of the post for us go and source a joiner to make one to fit.
We then need to find and have fitted the correct shade of laminate , which we thought would be a simple request, how wrong could we be, after requesting the exact shade we were told they could not give us this product detail and recommended we get it for sprayed, why would we get this sprayed when the rest of the kitchen units are a laminate finish, they also would not give us details of the manufacturer for us to make our own enquiries re the shade / colour.
We cannot believe that 50million pound company cannot provide us with a colour ref for us to source a match of laminate
So we are now in a position having purchased a 23k kitchen from Masterclass with no side panel and post, therefore the kitchen looks a mess and unfinished
So just a word of warning, as this accident could happen to anyone, be careful when picking your kitchen manufactures, and don’t take the warranty or guarantees as granted, although we were willing to pay for the items to ensure I got the kitchen back to the same standard it was before the leak, Masterclass cannot supply the items, so you could end up with products that done match.
I appreciate the leak is not a Masterclass problem, but would expect a company of this size to be able to supply replacement matching products and colour
